It's probably one of the best BBQs spots in Milwaukee. If you can find one. It's worth the search.

This is my absolute favorite BBQ place in MKE. I first tried their food at my friend's wedding and then realized that their food truck was a mile away from my house during the week. I cannot wait for next season and wish I could eat the brisket, pulled pork, corn bread muffin and coleslaw year round.

Tried the brisket from the truck at the Tastes of Wisconsin festival and damn! This was some pretty good brisket. Loved the sweet and tangy BBQ sauce

Stopped for lunch when finished shopping at Franklin Menards! Food was amazing! Probably the best BBQ I’ve ever had! So homestyle tasting and deliciously made! No fat, mouthwatering bbq! Can’t wait to stop at the truck again!

I ordered pork belly and the weight was short. When you pay $26 a lb which is insane for Pork belly, I expect to get a lb! Now half an ounce is roughly .80 cents worth, if they take half an ounce off 200 people that’s $160 so yes it adds up! If people buy a lb give them a lb, it’s not that hard to cut then a half ounce piece. This is not the first time they have shorted either but it will be the last time.

Today was the 1st time my husband and I ate their BBQ and let me just say, it was AMAZING! Being from the South we are always looking for good BBQ and we definitely found it here! We will definitely be loyal customers from now on!!

No bbq sauce with the ribs, only ketchup was served with them. Ribs were also burnt and mostly fat. Lastly, the baked beans tasted like ketchup too. Didn’t get to try the Mac n cheese because it sold out. Hopefully it was better then what I got.

I work in asphalt and who i believe to be the owner was incredibly nice as we were in his parking spot at Menards. Told him it would only be for the day. Anyways we got hungry and I decided to give FirewiseBBQ a shot…well needless to say where ever they are i am not too far behind. I make sure to stop by and have their pork belly sandwich weekly. Anyways, go try them out! Maybe you’ll end up like some of us who stop by weekly and chat.

I've been wanting to try Firewise for a while and saw on social media that this week was their last for the season, so I made sure to leave work earlier so I could stop and try them during their customer appreciation week. I ordered a half rack of ribs and a brisket sandwich. The brisket sandwich was on special for $6 and the menu board said it was 1/3 pound. I was given a portion cup so I could get my own barbecue sauce from the three options hanging on the side of the trailer (sweet, tangy, and sweet and spicy). I didn't care for the tangy at all when I tried it so I went with the sweet because I thought that would go better on the sandwich than sweet and spicy. I don't know if I would pay more than $6 for the same sandwich when it's not on special because the price was the only thing special about it. For the price, though, it was adequate. The half rack of ribs was $15 and I don't believe that was a special price for this week. Compared to other barbecue food trucks it's maybe a better value because the ribs were pretty loaded with fall off the bone meat. I did not like the barbecue sauce that the ribs were swimming in, though. I'm more of a smokey barbeque kind of person and the sauce was nowhere near smokey. It would have been preferable to just have ribs with a rub on them and get another portion cup to dip my choice of sauce on instead of having no choice in the sauce. Given that Wisconsin is currently a hotspot for COVID-19, I found it to be completely irresponsible that all four people in that small trailer were maskless. I don't frankly care if you don't want to wear one or aren't afraid of getting COVID-19 yourself, wear one for your customers sake. It's maybe one thing if you're in a large building and can easily spread yourselves out, but that's not exactly possible in a food truck. The carelessness alone makes me not want to stop again.

Saw the ad for BBQ on Facebook and this place did not disappoint. I got pulled chicken sandwich, coleslaw and beans. I would have preferred my chicken to be more on the shredded side, but it was still good. The coleslaw was really good. It's more of a vinegar coleslaw which was interesting. My husband got the pulled pork and he said it was amazing. We will definitely be going back.
