“Our last evening in the US and we felt we hadn't really had a burger - Harpoon Willie's was perfect. The default accompaniment was the house chips (crisps to us Brits) and these were possibly better than the optional fries. We also enjoyed drinking Spotted Cow, the local brew. Our waiter was friendly and chatty and helped to make our last evening very enjoyable.“

“I love this locally owned cafe. I enjoy the coffee. They offer different milk options. They have devine cupcakes, a monthly special and seasonal special. My favorite cupcakes are the lemon lavender and an old fashioned. The sea salt chocolate chip cookie is my favorite cookie they have. They make soup daily, and it's delicious. So far, I've had tomato, tortellini, and a cream soup. All delicious. I recommend this place to everyone.“

“There are several dining establishments in this semi-rural county that I like but this one has a warmth and ambience that can’t be beat anywhere in Southern Wisconsin. The food is not fancy but always good. Today I stopped by for a solo lunch — spicy black bean burger with blue cheese, veggies and chips. There’s always at least one cold brew on tap that rounds out my food experience. Long tables accommodate groups or facilitate making new friends. Most of the time though I’m drawn in the evening for dinner and music. The back room has been known statewide and beyond for decades, as a (somewhat bohemian) destination for audiences and performers. The genre is often folk or singer-songwriter but ranges beyond. We’ll-known artists sometimes have the Carpe on their calendar. Owner/chef/performer Bill Camplin delivers witty introductions for the acts when not performing himself. Sign up early with Kitty for a choice seat. Music lovers owe themselves a visit to this casual and intimate establishment.“

“My girlfriend and I stopped by to explore because we love cat cafes and not much else was open to do things on Easter Sunday anways. We made a reservation, as mentioned on the site, and headed over.We were pleasantly surprised by Natalie's warm welcome in and the great vibes in the main lobby. The coffee, tea, and snacks were also great after the drive in from Madison. However, the obvious stars of the show were all the beautiful cats! We have never seen such a nicely run cat cafe before. The design plan was pretty open and had a great vibe in the seating area with plenty of toys. Everything was also super clean! The cats were so active and happy, and we were so happy with how many of them wanted to play with us. You can tell that the cats feel safe and are well cared for while they wait to go to their forever homes. We are glad we decided to stop by and will definitely be telling our cat lover friends about this place. Please look into adoption or making a donation if you're able to.“
