Top notch service. Great drinks. Good food variety.Ribs......expected better. You could literally see the mustard on the wet sauce. Way overpowering and took away from some good BBQ ribs.

This restaurant was recommended by someone we met that day. They told us to have Linda wait on us and she was absolutely amazing. Friendly and outgoing. Food was amazing too.

First visit to House of Embers was Saturday evening. We made a reservation via Google that afternoon. The service was excellent as was the food (group had ribeye steak or chicken and ribs). For a vegetable lover, the medley would be worth the trip on its own.

The staff goes over and above to ensure your experience is wonderful, the ambiance is supper club ish and amazing/ great for a date - the drinks are great but the food is even better, classic supper club food but done well! Highly recommend. Ignore the bad reviews from stupid people. Live music in the bar on the weekends too! Pretend it’s yesteryear and come here!

This a restaurant we have always wanted to try. Had reservations got seated quickly. Waited 15 mins for someone to take our drink order. we got the ribeye. it was very good. However our server never checked on us once to see if how our food was or if we needed anything. We would have ordered another glass of wine for sure. Food was fine. We don't need to go back.Edit after response from restaurant---I don't think it was the servers fault. I think his work load was too heavy and he is only one person. So he literally couldn't check on us unfortunately. Other tables around us had to flag another server down to get another drink. But since we are paying customers and didn't get the experience we wanted, we were disappointed.

The restaurant experience on Saturday was busy, especially for our first visit to Wisconsin Dells in winter. I'd suggest making a reservation to save time.Despite the host estimating a 10-15 minute wait, it ended up being over 30 minutes. It's a bit long but acceptable. Our cheese curds appetizer took a while and arrived with the main course, disappointingly cold. The entrees were okay. The standout was the dessert—Lemon Meringue Ice Cream Pie is a perfect 10/10. It felt heavenly; I highly recommend it for fellow dessert lovers. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A HUGE waste of money. The Prime Rib is as tough as shoe leather. My husband and I both ordered the Prime Rib and Lobster. His came out raw and incredibly tough so they brought out a new one that was half the size and still the same toughness. My medium well was still raw in the middle as well. The waitress said it would be put in au ju to cook and it came back out with grill marks, charred black,, dried out and even tougher than before. One of our kids meals was sent to the wrong table so one of our children had to wait for a new one to be made while we ATTEMPTED to eat the disgusting food that was brought out to us. The lobster tasked like chlorine. The owner was incredibly rude to us and blamed us, that their food was horrible. Your local grocery store has better quality meat than this place does. Save your money and go elsewhere!

3.5 stars - I recommend making a reservation in advance for House of Embers. Our server, Miranda, provided excellent service throughout our dining experience. I personally ordered the Hand-Breaded Shrimp, which was served on a warm pineapple. The shrimp where a good size and the pineapple base was yummy! Additionally, I suggest trying the twice baked potatoes - they're definitely worth the upgrade to me. At our table, we also shared the Ribs. While I found the ribs to be a bit dry, it's worth noting that they are smoked and then cooked for additional hours, as mentioned on their website. Some might enjoy this style, but personally, I prefer my ribs smothered in sauce. The ambiance of this supper club is warm and nostalgic, with vintage decor that adds to the overall charm of the place. A tip for future diners: consider paying in cash to avoid the 3.5% credit card service fee, a small detail that can save you a bit of money in the end. I wouldn't hesitate to return or recommend it to others seeking a memorable dining experience in Wisconsin Dells.

We had the 8oz filet and the breaded shrimp both were delicious. Shrimp came on grilled pineapple! So good. Nice wine list too. Alexandra was our server and she was very nice. We were leaving and heard a guy singing and playing guitar in the bar area so we stayed and had a chocolate martini and homemade carrot cake. Greta was our bartender and SHE WAS AWESOME! so was the guitar guy wow!

Love the building. Very retro! Located on "the strip" in the heart of the Wisconsin Dells. Been here forever, which makes this a pretty great success story. Tonight I ordered the ribs, which came with soup or salad and a choice of potato for about $40. My salad was excellent, primarily because of the blue cheese dressing. It was chunky and very tasty. It was a good sized salad. My ribs on the other hand were definitely not good. The meat did fall off the bone nicely, but it was rather dry. I ordered some extra bbq sauce which helped a little. But over all I was not happy at all with my entree. Lots of competition for good meals in this tourist area. What makes them stand out is the history and building decor. For example: The men's bathroom was filled with glamour shots of famous movie stars from the 40's and 50's (kind of cool) Would have to try again (but not the ribs) before I give up on the food. The biggest let down was that their sign outside says "voted best ribs in town". (Good thing I wasn't in on the voting!) Service was okay. My bartender didn't talk much, but the female bartender was very friendly.
