Our group (17 month old, 7month pregnant mom & 2 grandmas with bad knees) walked from the Chula Vista for dinner on Saturday evening about 7pm to walk in the open doors of the Tavern to be told they were closed and something about the golfers being done for the day. The website says they are open until 9:00 pm and NO mention of golfing or not! VERY DISAPPOINTED!! FIX YOUR WEBSITE!!

Sadly the restaurant is pretty nice and service is great, but the food is not up to par with everything else. Easily could be 4.5 stars.

Delightful bartender, fast service, and clean establishment make The Tavern Restaurant a solid choice. I wish I had had dinner at The Tavern Restaurant instead of at Kaminski Chop House. Finally, reasonably priced drinks for a resort.

Food was absolutely terrible at the restaurant located inside the hotel. We were here because of a wrestling tournament and we did not want to get into the cold, so we tried this restart. Fries were ice cold chicken was extremely dry and no flavor. Outrageous as well. Front desk is extremely rude, answered our questions as if we did not exist. Water park is fun for all ages, but all staff was rude. Do not waste your money here.

Went off season, place was not busy, service was horrible, half of the table came out nad we had to ask where the other food was, ordered kids Mac n cheese and it was runny, wife wanted walleye but beer battered (we were here on a Friday, hoping it wasn't a big deal) but was told it was already covered with the cracker crust, meaning it was frozen, yuk. Slow service, sub par food. Stay away.
A “The Last Don” Don
Granted I went off-peak season so the place was empty. It has a nice size parking lot, the entrance is wheelchair accessible and they do have public bathrooms here. The food wasn't bad, no one in my group had any major complaints about it & we all enjoyed the mimosis that were served with brunch.

Great food for a decent price. We had the fish fry and the cheesy ranch hash browns were amazing! Great service too.
This place is a joke. Gave me raw prime ribs and took it back to cook it more and it does not look like prime ribs after all. Prime rib was tasteless and price was way too expensive. salad bar you only get about 7 topping to choose from. The dinner roll was hard as a rock. I am very surprised this place survived.

We were staying at Chula Vista as part of a group and invited for a BBQ. We arrived early so we went to the bar where it was happy hour. The bartender was great. It wasn't too busy yet and she was wonderful to talk with. The BBQ they hosted for our group was quite substantial and delicious. The hamburgers were thick and juicy, the frankfurters were huge and then they had bratwurst. They served all the fixings for them along with potato salad, salad, and housemade potato chips. The servers were very attentive taking empty plates and refilling drinks and very nice. The restaurant was very clean. We didn't have enough time to eat here again during our stay but wish we had.
