We were the only 2 in the restaurant and it still took probably 45 minutes for our food. I had to remind the waitress we got an appetizer with our menu selection and when our food did finally come, it was missing components of the dish. The waitress never checked on us except to bring us our bill.

We came in 3/18 at 1pm to an empty restaurant. It didn’t take long to figure out why. Our waitress, while polite, was dressed in a filthy shirt. We ordered my favorite appetizer (wanton tacos) which were pitiful. One taco contained 4 slivers of cabbage and 2 chicken crumbles. The taco shell itself was veryyy brown and overcooked. My meal was the Asian chicken salad. There was little to NO lettuce. The chicken tasted like it was cooked in left over grease from 2021! My husband ordered ribs which have never disappointed until today when they were found to be soooo dry. Most likely because they sat for days because they have no customers!!! Thankfully the water was good as well as the breadstick … those were the only good things we had today. We will not return. Apparently, Wisconsin Rapids already knew something that we just learned! The entire visit was spent listening to the employees sit around talking about how much people don’t tip! Lol I wonder why.

Someone gifted me a gift card for Christmas so I had to go and I knew it was not going to be unpleasant. Guy at the door wants to have a conversation when we are trying to sit down and eat so I said do we seat ourselves and he replied no you have to wait for the hostess which is me (him)? . Anyways we get our food and the expected crispy shrimp was soggy and the breading was falling off. Next the pasta with chicken tenders was overcooked pasta. Pretty slimy. Then we order a lava cake to go that turned out to have no lava in it? I knew it was going to be a sheetshow. Next Christmas I will be sure to say no Applebees gift cards. And after reading some other one star reviews, Applebees replies with let us make your next visit a 5 star visit??????? I get way better service at McDonalds and that’s pretty sad

My husband and I were there on Monday march 4th about 4pm. Very few customers. Over an hr to get our food. Steak over cooked. Service was awful. Had to try to find someone so we could pay our check. Very cold in the restaurant itself. Awful experience. Will not be back.
Service was bad. Over an hour when only 4 tables were filled. People seated after us got their food before us. When the food did come, it was bland and seemed like it sat. The brownies that we were given as an apology were definitely microwaved for at least 10 minutes.

Did a curbside order today for dinner I did the 2 for $25 and also I kids chicken Alfredo, with a mozzarella sticks side. Well for starters the marinara sauce was definitely not marinara, not sure what it was but it was NOT good. I got a steak with mashed potatoes and coleslaw the steak and potatoes were good but the coleslaw was so disgusting that it almost made me vomit. I’m 100% sure it was old. Don’t think I’ll be ordering from there anymore. I would save your $$ and go elsewhere.

Waited 30 minutes to be seated when only five tables were occupied. Not allowed to go to bar to have a drink while waiting accordingto manager we never saw. Waited much too long to have a waitress come to our table although there were at least 5 workers. She was the bartender, too, and took too long to get our drinks. Finally, after the drink was half gone, we gave her our order. Another lengthy wait for food. Food was okay. Finished eating and Waited another half hour to get our bill. That was only after I had to tell a worker bussing a table we needed to leave. I stayed standing until the bartender/waitress came with the bill. No apology. Terrible business. We will not return.

Waited 20 minutes for a drink. Waited 35 minutes to order with waitress Adelle who said probably a total of 12 total words to us. No apology for how long it took. No greeting just "what will you have". No thank you. Tried to make small talk but just kept talking to herself.Bathroom was in extreme disrepair. Door didn't latch. Toilet didn't flush. Soap dispenser was held together with duct tape and was ripped from the wall.Josh was the only bright spot in my whole visit. This guy needs a raise!

Unfortunately, this establishment has gone downhill. It took over an hour to get our food, and it was not what you would expect from Applebee's. Use to be one of my favorite places to go for dinner. So disappointing ?
