I really like this place, I've been twice now and if we're back in the area I'm sure we will stop again. My only complaint is sometimes the pizza crust is a little burnt on the bottom but it honestly doesn't bother me much. I love the pesto cheesy bread!

The food is why you should go. My wife and I have been a couple of times now and it is consistently delicious. They use high quality ingredients and you can taste it. Their sausage is not the little round balls of pork and fennel they are thin slices. Their bread knots are fresh and fluffy and their calzones are thick and full of flavor. Al’s is one of the few places around that will give you an appropriate amount of sauce with your order aswell!

THIS IS HOW YOU TRAVEL WITH AN AL'S NY WHITE PIZZA!This pizza is hands down the best in the area and dare I say maybe the best I've ever had.Now a lot of people will see the price for the 18 inch white clocking in at around $35 dollars and say that's too expensive etc etc. I am here to tell you it is absolutely worth the price. This isn't little ceasers it's a legit family owned and operated establishment using absolutely premium ingredients. As cliche as it sounds you can actually taste the difference.Their traditional pie is also fantastic and one of the best in the tri-state. But that white pizza....ooooo boy...now THAT is a pizza!Love the vibe and the family running the place. They've always been more than accommodating and friendly.I can not recommend this place enough.

Save yourself someone dough and chewing time and just get giovannis. The obvious price gouging on the menu is wild (a 12 inch is $14 while an 18 inch is $30) with every topping being an additional 3 dollars. No one relayed a price over the phone so then we get there and its 90 bucks for two pizzas and 2 cannolis which is laughable because no one is even inside of this establishment and there were no other tickets hanging. (Now I see why.) All in all the food was mid, with canned toppings and crust that felt like I was going to need dentures by the time I was done with 1 slice. But hey, maybe its everyones dream to run an eatery where the only other person "working" can chow down at a booth and watch netflix on their ipad in the middle of what should be a dinner rush. ?

Delicious NY style pizza in an area where you wouldn't expect it. The cheese they use is SO flavorful, and we loved the big pepperoni! Calzone was piping hot, and filled with pepperoni and cheese! Antipasto salad was yummy and huge for the price.. so many toppings and really good Italian dressing. The bread that came with it was so well seasoned, I snacked on it all night. This is definitely a little hidden gem in Barboursville!!
