New to area, saw this place and was excited to get some good Thai food. Still waiting. Saturday night 7pm. Feb. 11, 2023. Place was basically empty except one "party" of maybe 10 people. Waitress said she would be happy to serve me and my 2 sons beverages but any food order would take at least an hour or more. The reason was because of the "party" and online orders. She was apologetic but we left.

Sat down and waited over an hour for my food. I would think that someone would at least tell me that food is taking a bit to come out, but that never happened. It is never a good idea to sit someone if they are going to wait a long time, but I overheard the waitress telling other people coming in the door that it would be 45 minutes to get food. Again, this was never relayed to me when I came in initially. They also gave my girlfriends food to her and thought that would appease us until my food came out 15 minutes later. You have to ask yourself why even operate if you are going to risk having such poor service. There are easy ways to remedy unhappy customers too like offering free speciality drinks that you upcharge 90% anyway or offer a slight discount on your meal. Heck, maybe offer to heat up the other persons meal that has started to cool. Just not worth it. The pad Thai was decent. The portions are not that large of you eat a bit. $14 for pad thai is also insane when that meal has, at best, $2 worth of ingredients. I wouldn't bother even if they didn't take forever to get my food. They gave you plastic cups too for some reason. I can't say red solo cups made sense with their dinnerware. Anyway, this is the only Thai place close, so they have a market for now. I would change something soon or hope you can staff a kitchen consistently. Reading a comment from two months ago with a similar problem is concerning.

But so many things don't add up for me.I'm seriously speechless because I'm caught between a heavy handed critique and - it's often more polite to say nothing.You can eat here. You can call it thai food. But I feel like it meets the minimum requirements for everything.I'm not impressed but I'm not badly disappointed. . . I guess try it. Dined in for the very first time. Due to issues they only had less than a quarter of the menu available to eat. We waited 20-25 mins for our food in which I was brought a dish I didn't order because the waitress didn't write the order down. I had to wait and additional 20 mins for what I thought I was supse to get, it was completely different from what expected. I nibbled because I was so hungry and my bf had already ate his food. The dish wasn't very good and veggies were not cooked properly. I let the waitress know. I didn't eat the dish. We still had to pay full price even for food that wasn't eaten. $40.00 wasted. I wish them the best but we will NOT be eating there again.

I placed a carryout order, 2 items. I was told it would be 45 minutes, I thought that was awful long, but whatever. When I got there 20 minutes later, I saw the restaurant was nearly empty. I thought maybe my order was done early, so I went in, paid for the order, and tipped 20%. I was told just a few more minutes, so I sat down to wait. I waited about 15 minutes and went back to check. The server said it would be "just a sec". She hollered back to the chef about the order, and I continued to wait and wait... and wait (I was right by the counter for pick up). The chef came out 2 more times to ask about the carry-out order. Meanwhile, the restaurant emptied. An hour and a half later (not including the 20 minutes it took for me to get there after I called) I finally got the order, shrimp pad thai and garlic beef and rice. When I arrived home, I found chicken pad thai, not shrimp. I called the restaurant there was some confusion with finding the order in their system, but when that was resolved, they offered a free shrimp pad thai next time I visit. I'll get the meal next time I'm in the area, but I'm not sure I'll be returning after that. I was very disappointed with the length of time it took to get a carry-out order. I saw customers arrive, eat, and leave before I got my order. I have a feeling that the chef didn't even start the order until the restaurant was empty. Ate here with my girlfriend for the first time. I got my food a full 25 minutes before she got hers. Not exaggerating, 25 to the exact minute. I wait for my girl to get her food before I touch mine so it was very cold after that long. No apology or anything from servers. First time in years I left no tip. Won’t return.

My friends and I were visiting from out of state, and wanted Tai food. We were a little nervous to eat at Food Tai Tai, given the recent reviews. Luckily we had an excellent experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with large portion sizes. The service was good. The restaurant was very clean. Only complaint is that the restaurant was cold, so bring something warm to wear. All 6 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, thank you!
This Thai restaurant used to be one of my favorite place to eat in the area but new ownership has ruined it. PLEASE switch to serving Indian food because there is absulately no Thai flavour left in your food now.

We like to try places we have not been before. We decided on Food Thai Thai. We were greeted and given menus , ordered our drinks and got those too. That was the best thing that happened during our meal. I asked about the menu and I wanted something very spicy. The waitress told me anything with 2 chili peppers behind it was really hot. So I ordered a chicken dish with 2 peppers by it and then actually told her that I liked my food spicy and the hotter the better so tell the chef not to hold back. She acknowledges. A man came out from the kitchen and gave my husband my food. We moved it to my side. The 2 girls who where behind the counter who I assumed were the waitresses stayed behind the counter and ours was eating and laughing. Meanwhile, we sit and wait for my husband’s meal. He got the pork belly with gravy. We sat for 5 minutes or so. The waitress went to another table to give out menus and told us as she walked by that his would be out in a bit. The same man brought out his food. By the time my husband got his, my plate was lukewarm/cool. There was no gravy on his pork belly. It did not have gravy on it. There was a very tiny spice bowl with a soy spicy type dip. Not gravy. My husband used our spring roll dip for his pork belly. I used his sauce since it was spicy. The spring rolls by the way were rolled up with barely a thing in them. The man came back out with some food for a different table. The 2 waitresses yelled at him and pointed to a different table because he took the food to the wrong table. I really don’t know the purpose of these ladies had in this restaurant. It was almost like the man cooked it and brought out food and bussed tables. We were never asked how anything was and the icing on the cake was at the end when we were done. We were asked how by our waitress how everything was when she brought the check. I told her that the food was not spicy at all and lukewarm at best. She says…. You should have told me you wanted it hot and we could’ve done that for you! Unbelievable! I told her I did! She acted like she didn’t even know. They were not busy. There were only a couple of tables occupied. How could she not know. She just walked away unscathed by what I had said. Don’t waste your time because they don’t waste theirs. The waitresses are in their own world and could care less about the customers. The only one working was that poor man on the back.
