Truly terrible. From the unfriendly attitude of the cook/server to the truly awful tacos. Cannot understand how this place has gotten any good reviews unless it was under a different owner. The ambience is actually the best part. It's an old converted gas station with a funky vibe I liked. However the tacos were the worst we've ever had in our lives. Overcooked bits of fried bits on small corn tortillas with a little slaw topped with a blob of sour cream. Finally, the kitchen looked dirty. Not exactly appetizing. Go somewhere else.

This place is awesome with such a laid back atmosphere and great food. We were there on a perfect day, enjoying our tacos out in the sun and listening to the pinball going on inside.

I liked Poncho and Lefty's! I like the atmosphere and the food is pretty good. It's definitely the kind of place I would take someone if they've never been, but I'm not sure I would seek it out either, but, also, I'm not from the area. The big takeaway is that I would go back and I would recommend.

The food was delicious, the vibe was unique in a great way. On the way home from a family vacation and needed some fuel, great random stop. The portions were great, the flavor was pretty damn good. The owner working at the time was a bro. Good stuff.

This place is street tacos out of a building! And it's AWESOME! Joel is a one-man cooking machine that is the perfect owner. And the selection of pinball machines is also a great touch! DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP if you're nearby.

Great atmosphere outside and ambiance inside! The building is an old service station. Has outdoor seating including a rooftop. The inside is eclectic.Joel, the owner greeted us, asked if we had been in before, took our order, prepared our food and delivered it to our table. Love supporting local business and this one didn’t disappoint.Joel is passionate about his business. He said he used to run a food truck and that was all they sold was the fish tacos. They are now his top selling item on the menu.He highly recommended the fish taco (Poncho), so we gave it a try. It was big, had to eat half before attempting to pick it up. It had two pieces of fish on it along with Carolina slaw and pico. The fish may have been slightly overcooked. Good flavor but we had to add hot sauce for some heat. Some locals recommended the chips and pico. They even bought them for us. We didn’t see them on the menu. They are freshly prepared and heavily seasoned. Had good taste, but maybe slightly overcooked for our taste.Give this place a try!

For a small town Mexican restaurant this place brings the flavor profile of an upscale eatery . With a flare for flavor you'll order everything just to try it. Hardly any parking but plenty of seating for all. Gotta go get it to fill the cravings once you eat here.

This place looks like a fun place to hang with your friends. My taco was totally delish. Yummy for my tummy award!

When I saw this place, I thought 'I bet they have good tacos'. The place was empty. I ordered two tacos; guy comes out and tells me after he has made his version, and says he used spring mix because he was out of slaw. You stood there and tried to convince me that spring mix and slaw are the same, the only difference is how its chopped?? Okay; so, I get a discount because of that. I get to my hotel; the steak taco was substituted for a hamburger patty that was chopped up. Don't let the pictures fool you! Pure garbage.

Can't believe we haven't ate here until now. The food is great and the prices are cheap. Laid back casual atmosphere like one of your buddies just grilling good food in a man cave and throwing it on paper plates for you. Highly recommend hole in the wall ?

I had a great lunch there today. The loaded nachos and beef Taco Taco's were superb. It was nice to eat with the doors open, it made for a great environment to meet friends and hangout for lunch.

The place looked ok when we parked. We walked in and the guy was really rude and the place was gross. The guy was a j*** when we decided to eat somewhere else because of the way he acted. I'm quite easy going, but I wouldn't come back because of him.

I was disappointed. I've been here before when I pass through Beckley and it was good, but the last few times it's been sadly lacking. The steak was dry, the taco was soggy, and the sauce was bland. The staff are friendly though.

My husband and I shared the tacos. I thought the meat was great, seasoned perfectly. The cabage instead of lettuce was interesting but better than I expected. My husband however wasn't a fan. Also, no fountain drinks.
