Great views, cozy setting, & welcoming waitress! The food is homestyle & yummy on a cold day. Comfort food is the best way to describe it. Everything about this stop is like a step back in time! We left with treasures from the store next door & happy hearts.
I felt as if I was an old prospector, wandering around in grandmas trinket shop. Food was goush - “good mush”. If you have no teeth or lack there of, this is the place for you. Server was nice.

While staying in Cass over a weekend, we are at Shay's (formerly The Last Run) for dinner and for breakfast. Granted, restaurant options in or near Cass are limited, to say the least, but we would eat there again. The food was nothing special, which is to be expected in a more remote, sparsely populated area, but the prices are great--like pre-pandemic prices.
