Everytime my wife and I go to La Mezzaluna it's been fantastic. There's been times when we've gone multiple times in a week. Everything is top notch there. Prices are just where you'd expect them to be.

This gem is tucked inside a plaza that has seen better days. As soon as you are seated you are treated to delicious garlic knots. The staff we encountered were friendly and personable. The food is just as good. Our area needs more places like this. Classic Italian with reasonable prices. I'll be going again (and again). Hopefully next time my wife will let me get dessert!

Tucked away, a hidden gem, in the Food lion shopping center in Charles Town. How have we not tried this place yet?! We highly recommend a date lunch or dinner and will be back!Parking: Shopping center, so plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Although kids are welcome, unless they are older or enjoy the finer things, I don't recommend itWheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible and tables with chairs

We had a wonderful dinner here last weekend. The service was excellent and the food was unique and delicious. The restaurant has a peaceful and bright feel and we will certainly be back very soon!

Based on other reviews i had high hopes which were pretty quickly dashed. We came in and waited patiently to be seated by a host who also had to answer phone for call in orders (not a huge deal). He then ordered us a booth only to rescind that offer due to poorly spaced tables that made it hard to get to said booth. We were seated at a table and there is no menu of drinks (at least that we were offered) only some random bottles of soda, beer, and wine on a half wall and a wine list half way across the restaurant behind my back from our table. I opted for water given that. We got the house dressed salad which turned out to be red wine vinegar and oil with no seasoning it seemed on an acceptably fresh but basic salad and some nicely enough garlic knots (made with fresh sliced garlic a nice touch). The only real highlight of the meal was that i got the gnocchi in ragu and the ragu sauce was excellent, brought down though as a dish by what seemed to be overcooked gnocchi which tasted mealy. Service was mediocre at best and the waitress seemed overwhelmed with her number of tables. I don't think I'll be giving it a second chance I'm afraid to say. A lot of potential but wasted.

Everything here was honestly awesome! The restaurant is the perfect size..not huge but not crazy small. All the employees were super friendly. The food was excellent, great sizes too. The menu is pretty extensive so there is something for everyone. We will definitely be returning.

I was told to try this place and so we did. It was the first andast time we will go there. The service was mid at best and the food was very bland. I didn't think you could mess up Alfredo. It was a thick mess with no flavor. The place is way over priced.

La Mezzaluna is fantastic. The food is great, the staff is friendly, and the dining area is relaxed and cozy. My wife and I actually used their catering service for our wedding, and all of our guests loved it! I highly recommend checking them out if you're reading this already.Vegetarian options: The spinach ravioli was amazingKid-friendliness: Family atmosphere. I'm sure there are menu options kids would like!

Everything about this restaurant is great! The quality of food, the price, and the staff make you feel like you're dinning in at a friend's house. The consistency in quality does not disappoint! Even when they are short staffed quality does not

I have been in search of a local Italian restaurant that checks off all the boxes in my mind. La Mezzaluna is the place. The staff is great, friendly, accommodating, and seemingly experienced in all things restaurants.Starting with the FREE garlic knots, I was already impressed. I would eat these everyday for the rest of my life.My entree was amazing. The serving size was huge it was made to order, hot, and packed with flavor. The price was just right, I spent just over $50 for 2 drinks, 2 entrees, and a tip. (And bonus, I had leftovers for lunch at work the following day)
