Ashamedly I was biased about what the quality of Mexican or Tex-Mex food would be in West Virginia…..boy was I proven wrong. This place was incredible! Everything was delicious! Everything came out warm/hot with obviously fresh tasting ingredients that were well prepared! Even simple things like the refried beans or chips and salsa were very tasty! The frozen margarita was also delicious! 10/10 would recommend this place! Staff were also very friendly and professionally attentive and attired!

We loved our meal today and recommend the chili rellenos made by hand by the staff. The corn tortillas were also handmade and delicious. I loved my seafood fajitas. Fabulous! Great service. Teamwork by serious staff who are passionate about customer service! Great place that I love to visit constantly, but today it missed. Food was not IT today especially the fact that it came out with a big long black hair on it…. It was genuinely disgusting and disappointing.

Ate here after 12 days hiking the A.T. Food was delicious!! The salsa was a little too spicy so the lady made us a batch of mild. Tacos were very good.

My favorite Mexican restaurant in WV... actually I think when you factor in the food, the value, and the friendly service/atmosphere, this might be my favorite Mexican restaurant in the DMV. Great food, at reasonable prices for the portions you get. Dishes have a very authentic look and taste to them. I've been here numerous time and each time the staff have been very friendly. A warm and inviting atmosphere. That's likely due to it being a family owned/operated restaurant that has been in business for over 17 years. It really adds to the charm and experience of eating here. Shortly after you are seated, you will be brought chips and salsa. They have always tasted great and appear to be freshly made. The menu has about anything and everything you would hope and expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant. There are also numerous options for combinations with your order. I've added a few photos of some of the dishes we've had here recently. Very good sized portions for the cost. Dishes are prepared quickly and are presented well. If you love Mexican food, you need to give it a try!

My wife is from Texas and has a high bar on what is good Mexican food: Mi Degollado qualifies! Generously sized portions. Friendly and attentive staff. Multiple menu options. This is a family fav and we know it offers many options for different taste preferences.

Went in for lunch on a Sunday, asked if there was a bar because I originally planned on drinking a margarita because the website says you can pay $1 extra to order off the lunch menu and I was excited for a $5 margarita! No bar, AND I was told I couldn’t use the lunch menu, so I ordered my food to go. A family of 4 came in 15 minutes after me, ordered, and their entire meals came out before my a-la-carte enchiladas. I asked if something happened, was told “they just finished making the sauce.” It had been 30+ minutes since I ordered and nobody had been by the table since I got there. Rough experience for a first timer. I won’t be back.
