I stopped in to the Mountain View Diner after spending a couple of days at Gettysburg and Antietam. It was lunchtime and I was hungry.Good choice! The Mountain View Diner has an "old time" feel to it with solid choices on its extensive menu. Whatever your level of hunger is, Mountain View can satisfy itI opted for Hungarian Goulash for lunch and it was delicious. Food was good. Large portions which were too much to finish. Had breakfast and home fries were particularly good. Tried pancakes thus time. Good but also large and could not finish.

Ashley our server was competent, friendly and made our lunch there a lovely experience. I had the salmon salad and my daughter had the Rueben. Both were delicious. We will be back.
