Today was my wife's birthday, and we checked the hours listed for open operation, and it was scheduled to close at 11;00pm ( listed on website) , we arrive at 10::00 - to discover it has closed ! Not an hour early- just closed at what seems to be the regular time- as we read from the signage once we entered the casino! Please update your advertisement to match your actual products!

This review is for the newly renovated Barstool Sports book. We were PLEASANTLY surprised by the renovated Sports book. It looks AMAZING. The TV setup is on point and there isn't a bad spot in the place. You can even see most of the screens from the upstairs skybox restaurant. The bar area is open seating but if you want to sit at a table you need to be seated by a host and you must order food. Food can also be ordered at the bar (but isn't "required" to sit there). We've always liked the food served at the Skybox and their menu seems mostly the same, with a few additions. It seems that their prices have gone up slightly. As always, you can only have one drink in front of you at a time, since the casino has a no stacking rule. The only downside to the new Sports book is that they took away the stage and live music. That's disappointing, and hopefully they figure out a way/place to bring it back. We're really excited about the new layout and look forward to watching LOTS of sports here.

Had a wonderful dinner for my birthday at Skybox. I'd love to call out Susie for making arrangements for our large party and making it feel so special!!! The drinks were really good and the food hit the spot. The service was top notch. Definitely recommend for a quick casual bite while at the casino.

After 45 minutes in waiting with the restaurant at third-capacity: My salmon was good; my sides were not. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm at best. My friend ordered a burger (burgers only come frozen, which is just insane to me in a restaurant at a casino in this day and age) and they couldn’t even get the right cheese. Chef seems as if he’s checked out and this place needs to step up it’s game if it wants to keep anyone UNDER 45 that doesn’t smoke coming back (i.e- people with taste buds). Edible, but not worth a second trip. Will not be back.

We came our for our anniversary and stopped here for a lunch when they opened at noon on Saturday June 12. Our waitress was simply fabulous. I wish I remembered her name so that I could give her a personal shout out. We were in the booths. There is a little tv built into the wall in each booth where you can watch sports. Our waitress treated us like family, like she was thrilled we were there and wanted to give us the best experience possible. She offered things she thought we may want that would go nicely with our order (cornbread with the chili, ranch with the cheese fries, etc.), and shr brought a little cup of pickles for my husband. We couldn't ask for better service. My quesadilla was probably the best I have ever eaten. It was like a sandwich-packed with chicken and cheese. The appetizer side of fries with cheese and bacon was loaded with cheese and fresh crisp bacon squares. The chili was very good. The only reason this isn't five stars is because they didn't have the two things in stock I came to order (fish/chips and crab/corn chowder), and because their burger was fairly disappointing. For $12, it was really just a thin frozen patty like you would get for $4 at a roadside family joint. It was served up attractively, but that can't make up for the lack of meat quality. For $12 you expect a hand formed, thick patty. I would avoid the burgers and stick to other menu items. Overall a great visit, though. We will come again.

Every time I’ve been here the food has always been great! I usually love to come here for the bayside wings! Now bayside years ago was a dry rub and always has been from what I can remember! I ordered them about a month ago and got something totally different. The waitress argued with me that was correct and it wasn’t. For a little while bayside was taken off the menu but I was still able to order it. It was since placed back on the menu but according to this waitress is now the wet sauce instead of a dry rub! It’s like a sweeter sauce with old bay instead of mostly just a dry old bay! I was disappointed I didn’t get what I had been craving for months and what I thought I ordered but I will say the new “bayside” wings on the menu were pretty good since I was really hungry and did not feel like waiting for them to be remade the way I wanted I ate them. Also they don’t put parmesan cheese on top of the fries like they used to either! Def will come back but make sure we are all clear on what I want and want I’m ordering this time since they made the change. Also waitresses should not argue with customers, it’s rude and unprofessional

Possibly the worst dining experience I've ever had. When you look at the prices on the menu you would expect something good. Food is absolutely terrible. The service is incredibly slow. Our waitress was absolutely the sweetest woman on earth, but that alone isn't going to change the fact that the food is horrible

They stopped trying. I ordered the bayside wings to go. I've ordered them before and they were good. This time I got a wet mess with maybe a couple of sprinkles of pepper. That's it. I should have checked it before I left. I would have demanded a refund.

So I went to the soft re-opening for a friends birthday and was pretty impressed. They didn't have their full menu but I was able to have a few of my faves regardless. The wings are great! When I saw a $25 8oz filet mignon, I knew I had to try it without much expectation. I was kind of blown away at the cooking method, seasoning and buttery tenderness of the steak. Also, it was a true rare which you very often don't receive in restaurants anymore. Our server was Jon who usually works at Final Cut (another restaurant in the casino that isn't yet open.) His service was top notch and was very attentive and personable. I'll be back!

One star is being nice. Have been here 5-6 times. Service slow. Food cold. Not sure if they don't have enough help or what but someone needs to get it together. Plus it's a casino. You would think they would want to get you back on the floor and gambling! A plus-Waitresses are all nice.

Went there to have dinner before seeing a show it took an over an hour to get our appetizer then another 30 minutes or so to get the entrees. The appetizer was taken off the bill since it took soooooo long. Prior to this visit we waited 3 hours total from the time we were seated until we received our food. Lesson learned won't be coming back

It is sad to post this review. The last two times I have been to the Skybox the wait for the food has been horrible. It took 1:15 to get our appetizers (12 wings) not rocket science. I don't know who to blame. The service or the cook staff. Once we got our food it was pretty good. But after years of going we will not be back.

When I go to the Casino at Charles Town races and Slots and want something good and fast, this is where I eat. It offers standard pub or Sports bar fare, but everything is tasty, and the service is always good and speedy. Try this place out!
