“Coming in from Texas, or was nice to have that good old comfort food and Waffle House ambiance you've grown up with...Coming off a section hike of the Appalachian Trail, the steak & scrambled eggs with cheese, prefect hash browns, and tasty waffle were absolutely essential to breathing life back into me!5☆- STAFF (cooking & serving) are so friendly! They talk to you like you're an old friend from the time you walk in the door.4☆ - FOOD - It was good, maybe a tiny bit overcooked on the steak, but it could've been a chunk tire tread, and I would've eaten it after a 20mi day on the trail). As always, the hash browns are on point! Wish I could get them to turn out like that at home!5☆ - Ambiance - it's NOT a 4 or 5 star restaurant... it's a Waffle House... plenty of REAL AMERICANS in the seats and American (country) music playing on the jukebox... exactly as you'd expect.“
