The egg rolls that used to be good were horrible. They were filled with cooked mushy celery only. Disgusting. I have never had and egg roll filled with cooked celery only. What happened?

Well i went to Chin's today, first time i have ever been and i got to say it is well worth it. Minus a miscommunication of me wanting egg rolls it was all great food. i enjoy the number 4 chicken lunch special, the crust was really crunchy with the meat being tender along with a little juicy. The fried rice was nicely fixed and i loved the gravy that came with the meal. Steamed dumplings was good and enjoyed the sauce with them. Wonton soup i ended up getting i guess instead of the egg roll, it seems really good the soup is nice, i will fully dig into that the next day or so. Wish i would have tried this place sooner, i will be there every week until they close hungry for more. 4.3-4.5 out of 5 for me.

Have loved their food for so many years! We started out with the restaurant on Washington Street and have been going to Chins in Kanawha City since they opened. We moved to NC 26 years ago, but made sure to go to Chins every trip back. I was there last week and got 20 un-fried egg rolls to bring back to freeze. Cooked several tonight and they were fabulous, as usual! Thank you Chins!

Gen Tso’s was inedible - I got battered chicken poppers with no flavor and a little bowl of vinegar sauce....strange and expensive.

You tried all the rest now try the best Chin's has great food and their egg roll is not loaded down with overcooked cabbage it's got just the right amount and it has a small tiny celery and nice and firm shrimp it is delicious and it's nice and crispy it's not soggy or nothing I tell you I didn't really like egg rolls but I tell you what I tried theirs and I'm in love I'm telling you you know flavor yes texture yes 100% and I had the chicken and broccoli the chicken was completely done the broccoli was tender most 80% of the broccoli ? ends was soft enough to where you white theory with your gums if you're like me and have no teeth, wonderful experience.

Best Chinese food in the region. The egg rolls are the best I've ever had (with their spicy mustard!). Mr. Chin and his family are the best!

What is this gym sock, vinegar and feet general chins chicken? I don't understand what I spent 40 dollars on tonight but it's not suitable for my dogs.

Ordered "their version" of General Tso Chicken shortly before they closed, and it was disgusting. Nothing remotely like what I expected. The chicken was dry, the sauce was blackish brown and smelled nothing like ginger as advertised. The sauce was all vinegar with no sweetness, and it stunk up my entire dining room. The fried rice had a musty, smoked flavor, and the crab rangoons were dry and flavorless. Do not reccomend.
