After a late night concert we ordered from dp for delivery to our hotel room. There was an hour wait time for delivery, but that wasn’t a problem for us. We finally received a text from the delivery driver at 1 hr 38 mins after our order was placed that delivery would be in 5 to 7 mins. It was another 15 mins before we received our food. Upon opening our 2 calzones and cheesy tots, it was all cold. Very disappointed after with almost 2 hours just to receive cold food from a place that was only half a mile from our hotel.

I ordered from them on 03/29/2024- at 1234 am- I work a block away…they never brought my food… spent on the meal- over 20 dollars - gone i wont get it back… They Wont answer the phone… i sat on hold for over 15 minutes i finally hung up and started calling and i called and called nothing…Noway to cancel and no way to get my money back… Well i guess if it cost me 20 plus dollars to learn a lesson… well i got off cheap… I was a loyal customer ordering from there minimum of once a week to three times or more -NEVER AGAIN-Update- I actually received a text message at 248 am stating that they were sorry for the delay and that they were on their way. I said no I don’t want it I want my money back. And they gave my money back I’m assuming via my card… It’s a shame because the people who work and deliver from there are great people - but the craptastic owner won’t give them what they need to do their jobs correctly. They are always short handed and never have any drivers they have to have grub hub drive for them and some of those drivers… less than desirableI will still hold to what I say… I will NEVER AGAIN order from Charleston D.P. DoughNo reason to pay for owner incompetence- or laziness

LOVE the "zones" all of them are packed full of deliciousness, and are baked to perfection. These guys definitely do it right. Also I highly recommend trying the desert. You will definitely NOT be disappointed whatsoever. Open really late too, so when everyone else is closed, these guys are a great late-night option.

Different but good.I’ve been making an effort to try newer places in town recently. DP has been on Summers st for a few years now. I was attracted by their low prices and order the mix & match special using the app for pick up.The DP Dunkers were quite good. All white meat, whole muscle chicken which I had tossed in the sweet chili. The sweet chili had a real nice burn. I recommend adding some to an order.The chicken Parmesan calzone was different from what I was expecting. The dough is quite soft with little chew. Now I bet some people prefer this but I like it to put up a little fight. Also the cheese wasn’t entirely melted so I might order it well done next time. The chicken tasted good but the red sauce was….mid.Service was prompt. Restaurant was clean and in good order.

The younger crowd loves this all night and early morning dine in. Not far from the interstate and right in the middle of our state Capitol's busiest streets. Good food, and often crowded. if you have sensitive eyes or asthma i recommend carry out or delivery because the smoke will make my eyes water just standing in line. Hope this helps.
