Salty/dry brisket, small portions, cleanliness issues. Sides were very good except fries were excessively salty. Worth the try but i wont go back.

When we got to the restaurant it took them about 15 minutes to seat us. They were also out of 6 different menu items. When they finally seated us it took them about 15 minutes to give us our drinks. The cups were small and had more ice than drink in the cup. There were no refills. When they started bringing out our food they took awhile and didn't know who's food was who's. Once everyone around me got their food after about 15 minutes i had still not gotten anything. It took about 30 minutes before i got any food even though I got the exact same thing as my friends around me. Overall id rate this restaurant a 1/5 and i will not be coming back.

I really liked the food my only problem is that they were out of a bunch of items but other than that a really good price for really good food.

I wasn’t met by anyone at the door and there was no direction or signage to go on. I quickly turned to my right and saw a menu and kiosk where I could place my order.Kiosk ordering didn’t work. There was only one person who was there working the bar and the kitchen. She had to come back from the kitchen to bring orders to a table then was able to get my order. They didn’t have the brisket so I settled for the chicken sandwich instead.I am disappointed with the lack of employees to do the work, the lack of food for the customers, and the price was high for just one sandwich- no sides, no drink. Not a good value.I don’t blame the employee, but if they were supposed to be the best in Charleston I wouldn’t want to try the worst.

Wife and I enjoyed early dinner at downtown Charleston location. Both the brisket and pulled pork were outstanding - with mixed/medium bbq sauce. Sides all delicious with fries and Mac & cheese leading the offerings. Good service as well. We highly recommend !

Best place to eat in Charleston, hands down. Made me nostalgic for the BBQ I use to get in Texas, possibly better. Pulled Pork, mac n cheese, coleslaw, fries..all top notch. It will hit every craving you have if you want some flavor in your food! Its my new spot to eat!
