Great food. Friendly service. Of course I was there when it wasn't busy, but regardless. Most places like this do a pretty good job! Thanks for the meal

Delicious food, entertaining chef and good service
I hope I came on an off day for the restaurant, as I felt there was a lot of potential that just want to well executed. The main issue I had was being served a drink on the special menu, that was essentially just flavored syrup with a shot in it (quite literally thick, like syrup). I asked for a different drink (classic martini), and they said that while they graciously took the bad drink off the bill, the bartender would not make another drink for me. Quite odd!The food from the "kitchen" section was decent, but lackluster, the highlight was the clear broth soup that comes with most entrees on the menu. There are better food options around. If I were to come again, I might try the sushi or hibachi experience, however due to the mediocre/slow service and lack of memorable food, I do not think I will be dining at Fujiyama again.Overall, 5/10; it's food!

I've gotten take out before and it was good. We went for a sit down lunch, ordered the Sriracha Combo and crab Rangoon. The Rangoon were delicious, the sushi was not. The taste was plain and slimy. There was no sauce, or condiments. I actually gagged trying to give it a solid chance. We ate 2 pieces of each kind (6 pieces of the 18 pieces on the plate). I sat the plate on edge of table, the server walked by numerous times, like alot. I'm not one to wave down a server, but I feel like this is a universal sign. After about 30 mins he finally stopped by to ask if we want a box, I told him no and explained, .....his answer.... this is what you ordered. He did not offer any sort of solution, just stood there, also my drink was empty, had been empty, didn't offer to refill it. Frustrated, I ordered my usual to go, paid (for ALL the food) and left.I won't be back based souly on that server.
A great place! My first time here but definitely not my last!! My wife is a very big sushi fan and they didn't disappoint her!! Big ups to them for that!!! ???

First time here. Got in b4 the dinner crowd on a Fri. Sat a the sushi bar all by myself. Service on point. The only take away was the Yellowtail was a bit fishy. Update 3-11-24 the cuts of fish are FAT.

Such a fun experience! We got Saki squirted in our mouths (adults only) and broccoli tossed for us to catch. It was a blast, the kids loved the fire and the volcano (of course). HUGE servings. Had plenty for dinner and lunch/dinner the next day. Definitely recommend.
Wow. This place used to be my favorite Japanese restaurant until today. Paid over $60 for 2 chicken/filet hibachi entrees and the flavor just wasn't there this time. Lettuce for the salad was not fresh or clean, it tasted like dirt. The zucchini also tasted like dirt. The meat was a bit bland and the rice was just... Okay.. I could care less about the miso soup, I didn't bother trying it this time.

Frequently get takeout from here--the food is always fresh, tasty, and the prices are very fair. The staff is super friendly and the service is usually solid though sometimes they will mess our order up.

Great food and very nice atmosphere. Had to wait a little bit for refills on our water and the portion size was a bit small for the price but...it made up in taste. Man, was it good! I had the chicken fried rice and it was great. Just not enough in the large order.
Excellent service. Very entertaining Must tip food preparation and waiter Would return. Food excellent

Best sit down cook in front of you good Japanese food. Steak is normally tender. This is better tasting than the hibachi in cross lanes or South Charleston in my opinion.
