Classic truck stop/diner. Always good service, and good food with generous portions. The pies are usually great!

Waitress gave my order to some one else and I still had to pay for it.She Was too busy working and gabbing with the locals to notice, nor was the price adjusted without argument I just paid and went on.

Family style dining w friends . You run into people you know. We were party of eleven. We only waited a couple of minutes. I called ahead only 30 minutes to let them know. Didn't say group or party. Just We would be there at 100pm. With eleven. Very nice . Quik to help. Food was all good for everyone. No mistakes. Refills on drinks all around. Small gift shop if you like dogs . For you not the dog. I hadn't been here for awhile. Forgotten the best time. Plenty of parking. Right off the interstate. Food was good. We took pics outside.

We've been coming here for 3 generations. It still has the same atmosphere, service, and home-cooked goodness that made us fall in love with it four decades ago! A special thanks to our server Missy for making our time there with my momma so memorable!

A party of 7 in a Sunday lunch took a waiting of close to 2 hours. Food was ok. Was looking for a better coconut pie, disappointed with it.

Parking: Was only 20 min wait to be seated. Very busy so parking lot was pretty much full. After eating inside (Baked Steak & Gravy, could’ve had more mashed potatoes with the meal) but it was amazing. I ordered the Pinto Bean dinner to take out. It was absolutely delicious! Will definitely have it again. Didn’t catch my servers name but she accommodated us well. Haven’t been to eat there for a year or two but it didn’t disappoint.

Recommended dishes: Cornbread, Rolls, Liver & Onions, Baked Steak, Hash Browns

As for service, if I could give it, zero stars, I would we had reserved a section for 20 people we arrived. The lady was very rude said she had no reservation. Eventually, she found it very slow in bringing us water or asking for our drinks. Never ask if she could refill, it took over an hour to place our order for food, and when we did receive it, it was lukewarm or cold they were not crowded. I actually had to get up and look for her to say we were ready to place her order. Some people are diabetic they needed to eat. She informed me , she was waiting to clear out the lunch crowd and then would take our order. We had selected 1 o’clock so it would be after the lunch crowd and it was not busy again poor service. The food was lukewarm or cold, and the waitress arbitrarily decided to substitute one person‘s order with something else instead of asking if it was OK we will never go back there again .

We've eaten at Harding's in the past & just recently decided to meet a couple other friends there again. It's a very basic, "normal" family style restaurant (nothing fancy or upscale for an "in crowd") with really decent food & average prices. Our waitress, Candy, makes suggestions on the menu if we're unsure & she's right on the ball as far as attentive service. The only complaint might be that the booths are low backed & close together (especially in the first dining area on the right) & as a result, it sometimes feels that any dinner conversation you have is being shared with the other booths as well. That said, I suppose quite a few diners in the adjoining booths were surprised (perhaps even shocked) at the various metaphysical topics we were discussing in our group, even though we really were trying to talk quietly among ourselves.kid's.BTW... Harding's is right next door to the Sleep In Hotel at the Mink Shoals exit of I-79 North.Parking: Shares a parking lot with the Sleep In Hotel at the Mink Shoals exit of I-79 North.Kid-friendliness: Even though there seems to be alot of senior citizens at this restaurant, this would be considered a kid-friendly place & there is a kid's section of the menu. The gift shop has a whole section that's full of TY brand stuffies aimed specifically at kids.

Without a doubt, I had the best liver and onions I have ever had in a restaurant. The meat was very tender, and the onions were just right! Kandi, our server was highly attentive to our needs.

Made me very happy as a starving All-State kid. The food was buss. The waitress was very kind and sweet. I recommend this place if you want cozy home American cooking; it feels like I was at grandma's house.Kid-friendliness: A lot of sweet old people go there, but it's a good thing. Don't take your kids to Chick fil a in Morgantown because stinky college kids act like middle schoolers.

Simple family style restaurant with a friendly and caring staff. Unfortunately the food that we had wasn't great. Ordered the rib special and they came cold and slathered in barely warm bbq sauce. Return them and and after waiting they brought a second serving that were hot but still just slathered in sauce. Ribs were definitely not fall off the bone. Partner had liver and onions... no gravy until we asked... liver was overdone. If we weren't in the hotel next door....
