This is our favorite restaurant to eat at! The waitresses are wonderful and the food is awesome. Guacamole and salsa are so good. I always recommend to friends that haven't tried it. Very reasonable menu prices. Enchiladas blanco are my favorite

The restaurant was cozy and the service was great. The food I received was flavorful, portions were large. Overall it was a wonderful little spot once you can find parking and get over to the building. I'd highly recommend stopping in and giving them a shot. They had a wonderful drink menu as well.

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere enough to visit 2 times in a month, but when we noticed a credit card service fee-even though we paid cash...? We asked, but we're told added by owner and they weren't present . Not a huge amount, but still not a great way to end a visit.

Loved sitting outside on the patio and we had a wonderful waitress. Their tacos are excellent!

Eclectic local boutique eatery that serves up massive appetizers. We ordered the El loco pollo nachos for dinner. We added pico and queso, and when we picked them up they came out in a half sheet pan. Easily enough to feed 4 people. They were loaded down with toppings, the only indication there were even tortilla chips was a few of them peeking out the sides. The chicken was shredded and had a tomato like marinade. Very flavorful. We also sampled one each of the cherry and apple empanadas. They weren't bad, but we'll pass next time.

The only good experience was the service from our waitress. My beans tasted funny, and most of my food was uneaten. We still paid, but we threw away our food after. I lost my appetite from the experience. We read a food blog that recommended Mi Cocina, and we really wanted to like the place. The food was so out of character for a Mexican restaurant, and I would have rather stayed home and eaten a lean cuisine. The food was just very poor. Again, the service was lovely.

The chips and salsa were great and the staff were very friendly, but we waited a full hour for our meals. We were one of only 4 tables and it took that long to get our food. They never mentioned anything like being short staffed, and not once did they apologize for the long wait. I ordered a coke, expecting a glass which could be refilled. Instead, I got a single 20 oz bottle for the same price as the endless sweet tea the rest of my table was drinking. On top of all of that, the beans were WAY too salty. My mother-in-law ate 2 bites of her taco salad and didn't even take the rest home. Her margarita was extremely weak to boot. We won't be returning here, which is a shame because the atmosphere of the place was quite nice. Stick to Los Agaves or Rio Grande for your local Mexican experience ?
