I absolutely love this place! Been going here since I was a kid and now we take our kids there! Family owned and operated, a true West Virginia staple. Everyone should visit at least once!

This is a terrific local spot for ice cream and fast food like hamburgers, dogs and fries. Not fancy but the ice cream was great! Tasted home made. Generous scoops and friendly service. Definitely check it out for local flavor!

We stopped at Huskey's on Thursday (10/27/22), just shy of them closing for the season on 10/29. Upon arrival, it wasn't super clear if we were able to order at the outdoor walk-up windows or if we had to go in, so we just walked inside. They have a decently-sized indoor dining area and also some outdoor seating. The staff was busy, but cordial and speedy.I went in specifically to get their pumpkin soft serve; however, they also offer options hand scooped ice cream, milkshakes, dumplings, and ice cream pies. I got a large cup of a swirl with both pumpkin and black walnut soft serve. Both ice creams had great flavor, but I especially loved the black walnut soft serve. I always heard good things about Huskey's (specifically in Cross Lanes) and I can see why. I'll definitely be back when they reopen in 2023!

My family and I had hotdogs with fries and onion rings, along with soft drinks and a milkshake. Afterwards, we had ice cream and sundaes. The food was very good and so was our service. Even though it was very busy, we didn't have to wait too long on our food. Well done!
