“You've heard of hole-in-wall places, but this one is literally a door in the wall. You will question if more than 10 people can fit inside, but don't let that keep you out. The entrance way is a touch narrow, but once you pass the ordering area it opens up! Tables, comfy chairs, a group gathering space. Yep, all just past that tiny door. I found myself up that way last summer and of course I quickly sought out somewhere to enjoy quality coffee. In conversation with another artist, he mentioned Joe and upon seeing the Yelp photos I knew where I would be spending the next few hours. If you're a visitor like myself, know there is free parking at the end of the block (going downhill) on the left. Also, take the time to walk around the quaint downtown area. Now about Joe's. This is truly a coffee shop and bar in one. And since there's a full food menu, also a cafe. You will find something to eat and sip no matter what time of day. I of course ordered my go-to, an Americano. I settled into a chair with the vantage point of three people playing Monopoly, two others sketching, a couple flirting at the bar, and what appeared to be a family gathering taking place in the larger room. There are board games and books to borrow, local art on the wall for purchase, and plenty of cool Joe schwag to take home (including beans). The Americano was perfection in a cup. The bean, roast, and pull were some of the best you will find. About halfway through it, I saw someone with their house made cinnamon bun. Talk about envy in your heart! But alas I opted for a seasonal latte so I could take it and walk around the downtown. I know they've been around for a few years, and I hope they're around for many more.“
“Very polite and helpful staff. As always, it is delicious. Signs indicate that they now have order and pay ahead at Fairmont State location. Coming in from the front it is located towards the back and second floor.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator to second floor front front of Falcon Center.“
“The food is consistent, as it should be, it’s fast food. It’s wonderful the location is open 24 hours but during the late hours of the night.. they only take cash. I feel horrible for the employees, they have to calculate the cost of the order and write the order down by hand. It’s 2024, like, really? This is a fast food chain, not a small business. Also, with inflation— McDonald’s has gotten so expensive for no reason. Not that that’s this locations fault, but, still worth mentioning“
“I met an employee named Justin today. He was sweeping the floors. Most impress, was Justin's sense of surroundings. He paid attention. One customer needed a spoon. Justin heard the customer say this and got her a spoon. A handicapped customer was headed towards the door. Justin walked over and held doors open for her. He wished a child happy birthday. Justin goes above and beyond what is expected of him because this is his nature. Because of Justin, and his influence, I will return to McDonald's“
“This Dunkin’ Donuts has good people that have great fun while working. Let’s face it it’s a chain store it’s not the best but not the worst. Love Dunkin’ Donuts. Fairmont is getting better people.Dietary restrictions: Bacon is gluten free“
“I absolutely love their food and drinks! They’re very kind and the store is extremely clean. I have been to many coffee shops throughout my life and this one is definitely at the top of my list. They sell candles, shirts, cups, tea and more! They have been my number one place to go anytime I want a drink or food! 10/10 would recommend.“
“My favorite McDonalds. They are always friendly and they have the quickest response to customer service of any of the other local McDonalds I’ve gone to, weather your purchasing in drive thru, in store , in store pick up or curbside. As a dasher I visit them all pretty frequently and the service has never changed, there service and attitude with me has always been consistent.“
“Annie's food is wonderful, prepared as requested, and very delicious. Prices for entrés range from $10-$20 and may or may not include sides. Desserts are, at the very least, decadent and in-house made. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and surrounding area. A must-try if you have never been here. See you soon! [They are closed on Sundays, sorry]Vegetarian options: They have a small vegetarian menu but will most likely follow any reasonable requestKid-friendliness: High chairs, boosters, and kids menu availableWheelchair accessibility: Their entrance is easily accessible from their front door parking lot and has double doors and wide isles/tables easily available for wheelchair-bound customers.“
“Great option for good artisan espresso based coffee. Taylor (owner) just passed her 1-year business anniversary; she is very nice and you can tell she is proud of her venture and endeavors to elevate the coffee quality in the area. She will do well, so expect to see her around the region soon. Best!“
