Have been a local to Fairmont my whole life and finally decided i’d give mom’s place a try. My girlfriend (which is 33 weeks pregnant) ordered chocolate milk and it was completely sour, so when i took it to front desk i was told “i don’t drink the milk enough here to know if it’s spoiled or what the dates on them are.”Then they proceeded to ask my girlfriend if she wanted a new drink or tums. The milk was dated Jan. 20th and it’s the 24th. very unsatisfied with the experience.

My wife and I enjoyed the food. Drove up from SC to visit her father. You will get more food than you can eat. The owners were very hospitable and joked to flatten our tires so we could stay for dinner. Definitely going back on our next visit!!

Absolutely wonderful people. They were very kind and attentive. Just all around genuine. The food was really good, generous portions. Boyfriend said they're the best pancakes he's ever had. Very very affordable!

Stopped by to grab breakfast this morning while on a cross country road trip. After having stopped at 10+ separate diners in the eastern United States so far, I can say for certain that this hidden gem takes the cake as #1. Great coffee, amazing food, and friendly service, wish I lived closer so I could come by every morning!
What can you say about moms place. It's a family own business the people are very nice. Lori goes out of her way to help everyone she can. Just all around great place

Moms Place always has the best food. My family has been coming here for years, although we are not considered regulars or we are not on a first name basis.
