My husband picked up a take-out order recently. The food was delicious. We both had breakfast meals. Everything was cooked perfectly. The portions were bigger than we expected for the price. I’m looking forward to dining in and trying more of the menu.

THE BEST CHICKEN & WAFFLES I'VE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! I swear upon that statement. I'm a chicken & waffles girlie by trade. Any time I can order it, I 100% do. I ordered chicken & waffles at R Place-- for just $10, by the way-- and was absolutely blown out of the water. I got not one, not two, but three!!! pieces of hand-battered, perfectly crispy fried chicken alongside two of the best waffles I've ever tasted. I was completely blown away. There was so much food on my plate that even with my boyfriend's help, I still took home leftovers. The quality was fantastic and for just $10??? I absolutely will be returning here in the future. My mouth is watering just thinking about eating that meal again.

This place is fantastic! You have to try it for yourself. We ordered a handmade cheeseburger with fresh cut seasoned fries, which was absolutely delicious. The grilled chicken salad contained crisp, fresh vegetables and juicy grilled chicken. The prices are very reasonable! We will definitely be back!!

Ordered a few hotdogs for lunch. Once I got back to my office I saw there was no sauce on the hotdogs as requested. I had to go back to the restaurant to get the sauce. When I returned to the office my coworker and I opened them to eat. The sauce was a chili with beans. Not a hotdog sauce. It was also not a hot sauce as ordered. The hotdogs were sloppily thrown into the container. I did call and they were thoughtful to remake them and deliver. However, they were still very sloppy and not appetizing.

I've been excited to try R Place since seeing their menu, and they did not disappoint! We ordered breakfast. Our service was great, and our food was delicious. Prices were good as well. Special mention to the home fries lol, most places home fries are bland, but theirs are so flavorful and yummy.

We tried them today for brunch. I had the breakfast special of two eggs, sausage and home fries. Wife had a cheese burger and fries.The place was about half full when we arrived. The place is very clean, tables and chairs all match and are nice. I would suggest some pictures or art on the walls. They look a little bare.The young lady waiting on us checked on us often and refilled our drinks promptly. Anything we asked for we received promptly. The bill was reasonable, $20 for both of us including drinks.The iced tea was very good. The burger was good. My eggs were good. The coffee was quite good.Now for a few things they need to improve on. They are a new business and I'm sure still ironing out the kinks. I hope they consider these suggestions.My wife's fries were not quite done. Still a bit crunchy. My "home fries" were actually french fries that were cut up smaller. I would suggest frying the fries a bit longer and cutting home fries differently like slices or cubes.I ordered sunny side up eggs. They came over easy. They were very good but not what I had ordered. I didn't send them back as my wife had already gotten her food.My sausage kinks were not cooked all the way. They weren't raw, but needed to be on the grill a little longer.There were no napkins, salt and pepper or ketchup on the table. Maybe they are discouraging theft. I don't know. These should be on the table. Also, bring napkins with the meal. My wife had to ask twice for a napkin.The ketchup and ranch dressing were not very good. I would suggest Heinz ketchup and a name brand ranch. Don't go cheap on the condiments as it can ruin good food.My wife's burger showed up first and was not correct. She ordered just cheese and ketchup and it came with mayo, tomato and lettuce. She sent it back. It was 10 minutes before they returned with it corrected. Another 5 minutes, my food arrived. I would suggest being careful about writing down the order correctly and bringing all the food to the table at the same time. It's a bit annoying getting food brought at different times and eating while the other person doesn't have their food.This is a new place it was refreshing to see young folks working there learning job skills. I hope they continue to improve and make a go of it. Just need a bit more attention to detail and to use quality condiments.Parking: Street parking is all that is available. Fairmont doesn't charge parking fees on the weekends. There is a parking garage a coupe of blocks away.

I asked for a few changes to my meal (off menu) to which I was replied with, “oh, yes *we can nod*”I loved “Stacy’s” can do attitude! She was very attentive and friendly.Still a few growing pains, but as I understand it they have only been open a few days. I will be stopping again!
