“Had Kaz’s Barbeque for the first time today. I'll have to leave a proper review at some point, but the food was very good. I didn't weigh the sandwiches, but there had to be at least a half pound of meat on each one. The side cups were all filled to the top. As expensive as things are now, it's nice to actually get good portion sizes (Ali's mediterranean cuisine is another place with great portion sizes). I tried a little bit of everything, and it was all good. The slaw may have been the best slaw I've had. Very flavorful. Owner is super nice, too. Will definitely be going back.”

“I love this food and atmosphere. It’s one of my favorite places to eat but when I went today I had a bad experience. The employee hardly filled up my bowl. I had to ask for extra things because there was barely any. Again, I’ve gone here many times and never had a problem. I was disappointed because when the employee that filled up my bowl left, a different employee came in to make the orders and filled up the next customers bowl correctly. (I saw this because I sat inside). The food was great just wish my bowl was filled up.”

“Had a great "stonewall mocha" here along with a basic cappuccino. Generally, folks make a latte instead of a cappuccino so always great to see one made correctly. Drinks are on the board but there's a book of interesting specialty drinks. They also serve Italian sodas. I had a stonewall mocha based on the reviews. It was not too sweet. My daughter had a hot chocolate. They don't have marshmallows but do have flavored syrup. The inside is clean and has beautiful decor. The entrance is not visible from the street but it's in an alley next to the courthouse. Will return when in the area.”

“I was very impressed with the elegant dinner at Hart Kitchen in Downtown Clarksburg.I did not expect to find such a great restaurant walking distance to my apartment.We started out with some special French Onion Deviled Eggs.My partner ordered a delicious Prime Rib and I ordered a bacon double cheeseburger.As we were finishing our wine, I decided to order Mary's dessert special. It was brownie bites with chocolate syrup on top of ice cream.We were so well taken care of.One of the owners, Anne, checked up on us many times.Thank you so much. We will be back.”

“They only had 2 servers working the packed restaurant. Unfortunately, the food quality has diminished quite a bit, and the house dressing is not consistent. Either too much vinegar or to oily. It used to be my favorite local restaurant.”

“I was invited to a bridal shower luncheon at Julio's Cafe in Clarksburg, WV. (A Saturday in early March, 2024). I mistakenly thought that I would be going to a Mexican restaurant but, to the contrary, Julio's is a fine dining ($$$) Italian restaurant. The buffet lunch was made-from-scratch and excellent. It featured perfectly fried thick-and-gooey grilled cheese sandwiches; white pasta fagioli soup; chicken pastina soup with ditalini pasta; garlic toast; and spicy marinated peppers (which I put on my sandwich). I've had pasta and fagioli soup many times over the years but none as good as this -- obviously made from a traditional recipe from a real Italian cook! Some also enjoyed mimosas or aperol spritzes. The party host also purchased small bottles of Prosecco wine from the restaurant for us to take home as party favors. The ambiance was very comfortable in the back room for our group of about 30 persons, with three tables of about ten ladies each. The food was served along the counter of the bar area. A waitress took and delivered our drinks. There was a fireplace in the room but it was not lit. I hope to return one day for a special occasion to try their dinner menu.”

“Loved the selection! Also important, at 6ish the food was fresh, at the right temperature, and well seasoned.I prefer healthy, and there were actually plenty of choices. In addition to a salad bar, there was peel and eat shrimp, sushi, and fresh salmon. I also found green beans and fresh melon. I splurged with a couple cheese wontons and had a bit of ice cream.My husband had lots of fried dishes with sauce that he enjoyed.”
