The best pizza around!! We travel from out of state a lot and tried the pizza for the first time! My husband loves pizza and has tried many from various states. Tavern 1608 can't be beat! You won't be disappointed!

It is worth your time to check this place out! We stopped in on a Sunday night around 6:45PM. It is impressive to find a place like this open that late on a Sunday. We had pizza, a burger and the chicken BLT. All were excellent. They make their own bread and pizza crust. The pizza was fantastic. The burger patties were made from fresh meat vs food service frozen patties. You must try the house made chips. They are so good that they may ruin store bought chips for you. The owner was very nice. The prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion size. The ambiance is roadhouse/bar so it may not always be family friendly. We had the place to ourselves though.
