TLDR - would recommendI like meat. But I also like trying new things that help our planet, one of them being plant based food. This restaurant is a prime example of how great-tasting plant based food can be, and how staff can mean the difference between a good and bad review. Personally, their burgers don’t quite outmatch the real beef, but for what it is, it tastes good.

Saw the amazing reviews and had to give Earth Base Cafe a try when I was in town for work. All the reviews were accurate. Greeted by the wonderful owners and enjoyed a feast. I had the Rueben sandwich, pepperoni roll and Mac and cheese. So much food, I had to take some with me. Food is the best. Definitely will be back and looking forward to trying The Crabby.

My husband, son and I stopped in for dinner and we are so glad we did! They have amazing vegan friendly food, which is extremely hard to find in this area. We are so thankful we found them. We ordered the garlic knots, avocado burger, the burger sub and the ruben.Everything was so good and the service was impeccable! After our food digests we are going to dive into the peanut butter chocolate cake she made in house. Can’t wait!

Our lunch was soooo good we ordered dinner to go. Their vegan Reuben was something special. We were so glad to find this place. They only had a few people dining in, so the owners both came out and chatted with us. Homemade soup was outstanding!We also got some jarred sea moss to go. The owner offered us a taste before we left and we declined. Wished we had — that stuff is yuk! :-) Works in a smoothie — otherwise it’s pretty gross.

The food is fantastic! I usually order the Ballpark Dog, but today I opted for the Drummies for my boyfriend and I to try. They were amazing! My boyfriend doesn't usually like plant based meats but he loved them too! We will definitely be eating here again in the future!

Every single thing about this restaurant is AMAZING! Everything is vegan and there are awesome gluten-free options. There are so many great dishes to choose from. Infused spring water, appetizers, sides, sauces, entrees, and desserts are absolutely above and beyond quality! The atmosphere is so clean and beautiful and the owners are hardworking and so thoughtful and friendly. We are so thankful to have heard about you all and got to try out your amazing business! We plan on working through the menu because everything about this wonderful place is well worth it!

Came from Baltimore and visited this place for the first time on today. Everything was EXCELLENT!!!! Fresh food, homemade sauces, and outstanding customer service. The dining area is very clean and cozy. I’ve visited a lot of vegan places with some really good food but this was hands down the best! Great experience here and I pray abundant blessings over this business.

First time eating at a plant based restaurant and we had a blast. Unique menu that features plant based "meat" like hamburgers, chicken, and hot dogs. Menu also has salds and they sell homemade sauces.We ordered a pizza roll for an appetizer the Beyond burgers - without soy. Super filling! Check them out!

If I could give this 100 stars, I would, because five stars does not do this place justice! We traveled five hours from home, found this vegan restaurant, and decided to try it because we don’t have any vegan restaurants local to us. This is a comfort food type of dining place, with a welcoming environment. The owners are absolutely fantastic, and the food is to die for. We will absolutely, 110%, drive the five hours again just to come visit this place. It is a must try for vegans and non-vegans all the same!

We both could not believe how tasty the mai salad was! My Reuben was awesome too.And the owners could not have been nicer.Delicious!!

We both could not believe how tasty the mai salad was! My Reuben was awesome too. And the owners could not have been nicer. Delicious!!

Stopped by on our way to Va Tech. Decided to try this place based on the great reviews (on Google). No one in my group was vegan but everyone enjoyed their lunch. Great mac and cheese, which seems to be a tough thing to replicate for most vegan cafes. The service was top notch and it was great chatting with the owners.

When I visit Martinsburg, I ALWAYS go here as much as possible. The food is amazing and I was surprised to find such excellent vegan meals outside of a major city. The owners are friendly and helpful and really go out of their way to make sure you are happy.

Wow! Fantastic food! I forgot to take pictures because I wanted to eat everything all at once. The Rhuban sandwich was very flavorful, with just the right amount of tangy sauerkraut. Yummy, creamy mac-n-cheese, and hands-down, the BEST potato salad on the planet! I had to buy extra to go! Try the banana cake- amazingly moist and delicious, full of sweet banana goodness. Whatever you choose, you can't go wrong. YUM!
