I feel like I must be reading about another restaurant when I see the positive reviews. This was literally the worst restaurant experience of my life. I ordered shrimp fried rice and my friend ordered chicken and broccoli. We both gagged and spit our first bites into our napkins it was THAT terrible. Threw the rest in the garbage. The atmosphere was dark and gloomy and large fish tank was so incredibly filthy I felt sorry for the fish. I truly have never tasted such awful Chinese food. ?

THE first time EVER getting food from here amd I've lived in Martinsburg for over 6 years. I ordered Hunan Chicken/Shrimp Fried Rice and crab Ragoon. I wasn't really fond of the crab ragoon...but the main meal was DELICIOUS. Everything was fresh. They said I will be back and I will.

Service was wonderful, food was excellent and flavorful. Portions were big. Alittle pricier then other places but worth it for the quality and quality you receive. Will be going back again.

My first time trying this place and I chose it over all the other chinese spots in martinsburg because of a higher rating. Andddddd after trying I have no clue why the rating might be higher than other places around. I ordered the Szechuan “Ming” Shrimp, and the description stated it was “jumbo shrimp cooked in a garlic szechuan sauce with mushroom and bamboo shoot” something like that, which sounded good because i like spicy , and savory dishes. I ended up receiving my order and it ended being like 6 shrimp and 4 little sad pieces of mushroom and soggy bamboo shoots SWIMMING in a pool in extremely SWEET sauce ? so like no food hardly. and also a completely different nasty flavor profile , i don’t even enjoy sweet foods. My partner ordered Chow Steak Kew and that had no flavor like at all but we had to switch because i couldn’t even gag down that sweet sauce that was suppose to be spicy szechuan ? lol. and 2 hours later we are back hungry because again in the shrimp dish there was hardly any food . and we also waited around 45 minutes for this even though it wasn’t busy. i wasted my last money on this mess & no i won’t be back

We were a group of nine on Sat. at about 7:00 PM. We all had the buffet. The shrimp in its shell was overcooked and nearly impossible to peal. Otherwise, the food was excellent. The chocolate cake is to die for. The restaurant is quiet, so we were able to hear each other talking, which was so nice. The service could have been better. We had to ask to place our drink orders as no one came to our table to request them. We have eaten there many times in the past and always return for the food and atmosphere. The staff is very friendly. Parking is on the street .

Nothing like the old Peking...out of foods, extremely slow service, food not great. Too, bad, I used to love the peking.
