It's not the best location for this restaurant. This was our 3rd location. Morgantown is not where it's at for this company. The one outside Washington PA was 100% amazing. For this location, walk in, and the amber lighting makes it very hard to see. I wore glasses, and walking the tiles with the lights was challenging. The beer menu was so ridiculous. You have the choice of a TV screen *in a room lit with amber lighting*, which changed rapidly to where reading past the 3rd choice was not easy. Or you can scan a QR code that isn't updated or accurate. The choices aren't even great. A good bit of amber, sours and basic college beer. The cocktails are always great. But the food.... we ordered fried pickles. The presentation was great. 4 huge spears fried nice and golden. But they weren't fully cooked. It's not a good feeling to bite down, and warm, undercooked dough hits your mouth. The server was nice.

I want to preface my review by saying the restaurant appeared to be woefully understaffed when my partner and I were there for dinner, with only two servers responsible for the entire dining room (which was at least 75% full during our meal) and the bar. That being said…the service was rather slow, but friendly. I ordered the filet special, medium rare, and it was most definitely overcooked to about a medium, medium well. HOWEVER, it was incredibly juicy and melt-in-the-mouth, so I did not return it. My partner got the B3 burger, which was mediocre. Our onion ring appetizer as well as my partner’s side of fries were good, though. All in all, we will not be returning and I would not recommend trying it out primarily based on the speed of service and quality of meal for the cost.

Bacon, Bourbon & Beer looked good for a casual meal on a Saturday night. The menu selection was good even and heavily weighted to various bacon themes. The service was very slow. I am not sure if it was due to WVU student staff being out for the semester break or other reasons. There seemed to be a good number of servers but we waited a long time for drinks, a long time for food, and a long time to pay the tab. At one point my guest said we should just leave some cash and go (and that was before ordering the food). The food itself was good and more than I could eat. I probably will not return

Bourbon, Bacon, and Beers. Oh my my my. My daughter, my friends, and I came in here unassuming on a Saturday night. My daughter is 2 and this establishment, though targeted at adults, catered to her in every which way. Our fabulous server, Lily, made sure everything was right throughout any hiccups that came her way. We felt pampered, and after taking a bite of that heavenly brisket Mac n Cheese, we set up camp. Every food item we ordered was a hit.Being a traveler in from out of town, I have no bias. This place is incredible. Thank you Lily for an awesome experience!

Second time at the Morgantown location and both visits were excellent. The beer selection was great, and the bartender was quite familiar with the various selections of craft beer. The food, also, did not disappoint. The Mac and cheese, particularly, was fantastic. I would strongly recommend trying the Morgantown location.Kid-friendliness: Waitress was prompt and knowledgeable of the menu.

A wonderful combination concept! Staff was super helpful. Kitchen was super slow. Don't know if it was a one time thing or an everyday thing.

“Absolutely nothing,” our server rudely responded when asked for which option were gluten-friendly for my sister with an allergy. She went on to confidently explain that “everything is cooked is bacon grease and there’s cross contamination from the seasonings and breading.” And, we spoke with the manager today and this is absolutely false…That was our final straw after our party of four adults and three kids were crammed onto a four top table when the restaurant was virtually empty and only one high chair was brought over when we asked for two. The vibe was nice and we were excited about the food but the service was the worst I’ve experienced in Morgantown. Extremely disappointed and won’t be coming back but thankful Crab Shack Caribba was close by for a great night out with the family.

The food was delicious and a nice selection of bourbon and beer. Not very busy for a Thursday night. Has this place not been discovered yet?

Guys I always am an optimist but the bacon around the bacons wrapped cheese was raw on the inside, the corn bread was grainy in a bad way, the butter on top definitely tasted burt, and then the pigs can fly boneless wing interpretation I had to spit one out cause the fat couldn’t be swallowed without chewing. Bartender was nice but was too busy managing the rest of the bar.

We recently ate here while visiting our daughter, just on a whim. The meatloaf sandwich was huge, and very tasty. Bacon was excellent (it's in the name so it should be). Server was courteous and prompt.

Really great food, I was surprised by the quality and value. Also good atmosphere. Just make sure you have enough time! The night we went (we had called an order in for take out ahead of time) it took almost 20 minutes to get the one woman working (that we could see) to come and give us our order. She kept totally ignoring us no matter what we did. Other than that, it was good.

Been here only a couple times since they opened. Good beer selection, good appetizers and burgers. But the bacon wrapped chicken and baked potato are so far from fresh I thought I was eating two day old left over. The chicken was definitely not made to order and had been sitting in a hot box for a while. $22 for a cafeteria entree isn't a good deal. I can't attest to the rest of the entrees but I recommend just sticking with burgers and apps.
