Delicious burgers with very friendly staff! We are staying in town overnight on our way to find Moth Man so when we saw the menu this was a no brainer! All of the burgers are cryptid themed! We were greeted immediately by a very friendly and smiling waitress! Our food came up very quickly and the chef came to ask us how it was. You can tell he loves what he does! Highly recommend this fun little burger joint.

I was at a vet nearby and starving and love to try local places so chose Big Reds Shanty! The place is all about WVU and race cars which was great atmosphere. The gent who took my order was friendly and welcoming. I ordered a mini (and that is a regular size) cheeseburger, onion rings and a vanilla shake. The meal was ready in about 7 minutes and extremely tasty. The burger was very delicious and real onion rings were terrific. The homemade vanilla shake made me want another one. Yes, I recommend you stop in.

I was having my truck serviced near by and had a couple hours to kill. The guys at the shop recommend Big Reds for lunch so went to try it out. I walked in a stranger and after about an hour and a half I felt like family. The people were so nice and the food was awesome. I highly recommend giving them a try if your in the area. I live about an hour away but I’m already planning my next visit ??

I'd heard good things from friends and I was craving a burger so I stopped in for lunch. Everything I ordered was fresh, hot and delicious - and made quickly! I ate at the counter and everyone working was friendly. Looking forward to going back.

Frightening experience. The gentleman cooking was yelling at other employees and making it awkward for everyone trying to eat. Every order was incorrect, mine included. It was crazy and i wont be back. Go somewhere else.....you have been warned

The Appalachian Dog was one of the tastiest dogs I've ever had. Topped mine with the classic trio of mustard, yellow mustard and white onions. I highly recommend this all beef hot dog. My daughter had the mini monster cheeseburger and fries. Of course I had to try a few bites for myself and I was very impressed with that as well. Seasoned just right and cooked to perfection (not dried out). As good as a Five Guys burger in my opinion. Lastly the fries and onion rings were fantastic as well. Give Big Red's a shot if you have not yet.

I ordered delivery and via the driver continued to receive updates (never having Big Red’s call me directly) for each of the items they had been out of for the evening and if I wished to replace an item with something else on the menu. After multiple calls (a new inventory shortage for each call) and a back and forth with the driver (Taha was an absolute professional) I decided to call Big Red's directly to work out details for the order.Unfortunately, they did not have the professionalism to answer the phone.We had been excited to support a locally run family business with early excellent reviews (important to note if my experience happens to be an anomaly), but I could not have been more disappointed with the lack of professionalism shown. Inventory issues can and will always occur and with the smallest of efforts from Big Red’s each could have been addressed, little to no effort was shown from them.Food quality and lack of customer service simply cannot justify the cost for delivery service.We will continue to make every effort to support locally owned businesses, but it will be some time before we will reconsider giving Big Red’s another try (dine-in or delivery).
