We will be back! My wife and I came here on a Wednesday night. The food, atmosphere, and service were all excellent. I got the stuffed short rib ravioli (apparently this is a seasonal dish. The bread that comes with it is amazing!), and my wife got the fish and chips. Both were delicious.Kid-friendliness: Plenty of high chairs and booster seats, and lots of room between the tables.

Our meals were really good. The fish and chips were the star - generous serving size and high quality meal presented beautifully on a serving board. We also enjoyed the crab dip with pretzel. Great warm appetizer to share. The only suggestion that we have is that it would be great to have some sort of a heater system on the deck. It got very cold very quickly as the sun set and they could not accommodate us inside.
We were passing through the area on Rt 68 on our way home to Virginia after spending the weekend in Ohio. Many times we passed by Cheat Lake and thought how pretty it was. We looked up restaurants and saw Dockside Bar and Grill listed and since it was a beautiful Fall day we thought it would be nice to have dinner with a view of the lake. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful view and the cozy atmosphere inside. We had a very friendly and attentive young man as our waiter. We ordered the crab dip and soft pretzel as an appetizer and the short rib ravioli and the crab stuffed salmon. Our food came quickly and was absolutely delicious! The portions were large and we brought home leftovers and are looking forward to having it again tomorrow.

Quiet , rainy evening . The atmosphere was nice . The waitress Heather was exceptional. ! The Mac an cheese is not baked . I was disappointed with it . The boneless wings were a great size . A little overly done an the sauce was too much . They swam in the sauce . Just too much . Otherwise , we may try it again . The menu has changed .

Went for our 13th wedding anniversary, scenery was gorgeous and atmosphere was energetic and great music. Food was delicious and the waitress was quick and attentive. Overall a amazing experience. Will be back again !

Beautiful views of Cheat Lake, the food is good and the service was excellent! Extra bonus is the live music in the evenings on weekends. Undercover was the band which made for a really fun night!! Definitely hit this place up in the summer.

First of all, I made outdoor reservations for 4 at 7:30 to hear the band. After walking an elderly guest down the hill I was told my reservations were for the upstairs patio, not the deck. I asked for the manager. Allie was friendly but no help stating I would have a good view from the patio, knowing my elderly guest would have to immediately walk back up the hill! I contemplated leaving. Upon seating in the upstairs patio, service was very slow even for water. It was not crowded. The service appeared much quicker on the deck below. I guess because there was a cover charge. The menu is nothing fancy. None of us were impressed with the meals. Two stars for the atmosphere and the band.
