I have been here twice. The food is good and I appreciate vegan offerings. It is maybe a bit pricey but what isn't? The service was great and we were satisfied.

We had a delicious dinner on Friday night and Alexis was a wonderful server. We went back for brunch on Sunday and Mark did an excellent job. The food and drinks were delicious BOTH times we went. I recommend this restaurant!

Excellent prime rib sandwich or lunch. Wasn’t sure what to think as cosmetically, this place was sort of a dump on first impression. I could not have asked for a better sandwich. Service was good, prices good too. Would definitely return if ever in Morgantown again.

My family used to love Iron Horse Tavern but was afraid to eat the food after the interaction with the waitress Tori. It was not a busy day and at minimal requests from us, she seemed bothered. She repetitively rolled her eyes at me and rudely stated "Well you rolled your eyes at me first." I was shocked and asked her if she wanted a tip. She nastily said "not from you."

Great place to eat! Fast, friendly service. I had the Korean Beef tacos that were fabulous. They came with homemade, warm potato chips. Outdoor seating available and bar.

We were in town last weekend to visit our son, who is a 3rd year law student, We went to Tap House to watch the ND/Cincy game and ask IF we could do that on a TV in the back of the bar. The wait staff was more than willing to allow the 7 of us to watch our game, while the rest of the TVs were tuned to the WVU-Texas Tech game. 10 minutes later, the "owner" tells them to put the WVU game on our TV... I inquired about the decision and was told "he's the owner.",,, We spent around $200 in the hour we were there and were forced to leave to watch our game elsewhere. OBVIOUSLY this "Owner" doesn't need business. Staff was GREAT, food was WAY over priced ($10.99 for cheese stix), and the atmosphere, all 10 people in the bar, was like being at a funeral. Avoid this place, there are so many places in Morgantown that NEED your business... OBVIOUSLY, this place does NOT!

In defense of the slowness, it was a gameday Saturday. That said, it also wasn't very busy inside. I realize they take reservations but we were told an hour wait, was an hour and a half, and then we didnt get our food for almost another hour after that. Food was incredible though. Had the Sweet Caroline BBQ sandwich and it was ON POINT. Very good beer selection as well. I plan on eating here again, hopefully on a quicker service day.

My husband and I jumped on Trip Advisor to see where to eat in Morgantown. This was #1, but had some recent less than stellar reviews. Since there aren't a lot of options, we decided to give Iron Horse a try anyway. We were very pleased. The staff was friendly and attentive. The cocktails were great and the food was delicious. The Brussels spouts we had for an appetizer were SO good! I had the friend green tomato BLT and my husband had a burger. Both were great. After we checked into our hotel across the street and walked around town we stopped back in for dessert. The donuts were fantastic! We will definitely go back!

Good food terrible service...restaurant was slow and the two servers were overwhelmed with the 7 occupied tables. Ate our meal and not one appearance from the server except to deliver the bill. Dirty tables full of dishes throughout restaurant.

We had the chicken panko sandwich and truffle fries and the pulled pork sandwich and basil tomato soup. It was all very tasty and home made. Would definitely go again. Bring $2 in quarters for metered parking.

Happened upon this place for brunch and we were delighted at the quality of the food. I had a veggie omelette with spinach/carmalized onion/mushroom/feta/sun-dried tomatoes. The portions were more than generous. All food I saw delivered looked delicious. I’ll certainly be back!

We stopped for dinner after visiting WVU. The muscles (ordered by tow in our group) were great. The chicken cordon bleu sandwich was tasty. Three different burgers was all very good as well. The fries were our least favorite part of the meal. Would definitely return.

Wanted to order burgers but were forced onto the Brunch menu. Ordered the breakfast platter. Everything (including the coffee) was tepid at best. Order the eggs scrambled hard; they weren't. The pancakes were like dense mattresses - in the Navy they are called collision mats because they go between ships.

We were here last Sunday night at 7:00 on our only night in town and we were turned away by the hostess. They were supposed to be open till 9:00 and we were told they couldn’t take care of all the people that were there before they closed. We had looked forward to our visit and dinner there on our only night in town, but had to go elsewhere for dinner.

Five of us for dinner. Iron Horse offered a good variety of brews, including 3 IPAs that we could taste test before ordering. There was a nice variety of dishes. I had the chicken wings and sauteed brussels sprouts, which was more than enough. The others in the party all seemed to enjoy what they ordered. Service was prompt. Expect to pay $25-$30 with drinks and tips.
