Tried Stray Cat for the first time last night and I was not disappointed. The food was great and the owner had such a huge personality. If you're in Morgantown and would like to try something new definitely stop by.

My wife and I stopped here on our Honeymoon tour around West Virginia for brunch. Saw it on Google maps while we were planning the trip and luckily while we were leaving Morgantown, they were open. We ate inside. There's limited seating inside (some seating outside), but we were the only people there when we showed up. I ordered the Tijuana, she ordered the Philly which was a special that day. We split Cajun and Garlic Parm fries. Everything was delicious. Would definitely return if we are heading through Morgantown and the timing lines up!Parking: Larger parking lot adjacent to the building.

Their food is just wonderful. I have had almost everything on their menu at least once. The barbacoa is so damn good The one thing I wish it had was a little bit of vegetables but it was still so damn good. If you wanting something sweet there deep fried banana is great and the deep fried PB&j is just a wonderful thing to have. If you like deep fried this is a place to try.Parking: There is a large lot next to where they are that is used for parking.

I had heard lots of good chatter and I'm thrilled that my wife and I finally had a chance to try out the Stray Cat Chimmi Shack. The trailer is pulled up right next to the building. When you want to order food someone inside the building will take your order and you can pay for your food then.We ate outside in the outdoor space that has been setup. Its a great space there are a variety of chairs, tables, and umbrellas providing shade. There's also some pretty good music playing in the outdoor seating area.The food here is just fantastic. To start with my wife and I split an order of Cajun Fries. Delicious with just the right type of kick. Next time I think I want to try the Old Bay fries. I ordered the Stray Cat and my wife ordered the Beef Boy. The Stray Cat was great with plenty of melted cheese piled on top of the shredded chicken. The fried burrito shell had just the right level of crunch.My wife and I traded dishes halfway through so I got to try the Beef Boy as well. Again a great shell/tortilla and plenty of melty cheese. The beef feeling had great flavor very similar to what you would find in a taco.I can't wait to come back and try some of the other menu items. Their riff on the pepperoni roll and buffalo chicken both look really good to me.

Stopped here for the first time. Small place with outside seating, very friendly staff. Had the stray cat chimmi (basic chicken and cheese chimichanga. Easily shareable with an order of fries. As expected, it's a pretty heavy meal considering everything is deep fried, not something I would do everyday. Also had the garlic parm fries which were really good, highly recommend those. I'll probably try a different chimmi or salad next time, but definitely getting the fries again.

A small food truck that operates an old hotdog shop that you can eat in their makeshift courtyard... I shouldn't even have to review the cheesy smokey barbacoa filled crispy chimi. But it was hot, fresh and made to order. Try a dessert too, the tables near me were raving about it.
