We wanted to try something new for date night a few months ago and came here on a whim. I’m so glad we did because we ended up finding a gem! First of all, the food was amazing. My boyfriend got the gumbo & cornbread, I got the pulled pork nachos & voodoo egg rolls, and we shared the banana bread dessert. Everything was so amazing that my boyfriend asked to speak with the owner. We met the owner & his wife and enjoyed talking to them. The bartender & servers were also incredibly friendly. We’ve been back since then & will definitely continue coming. Love this place!
Greeted nicely, Kristin seats me, I let her know this was my first visit, and the experience started. Amauri was my server and she is 5+Star quality in conversation, recommendations and service, also her Chuck Taylor’s were pristine. The beer, Porter was selected, dark, chocolaty and heavy, along with ice water in plastic which is just fine with me, I could walk out with it and not worry about glass breaking. Wedge salad with blue cheese is the essence of simple and flavorful with those tiny tomatoes ? as well. Gumbo/shrimp and crab cup was like I was in ‘Nawlins, even though I’ve never been there , but this cuisine is legit!!! Ask for two of the corn bread squares , they are WOW!The lobster crab fettuccine is the most delicious overwhelming portion of food I have ever experienced in my life. If you can finish that plate alone, they have to give you a t-shirt commemorating the accomplishment ??This is a 5 or at least a 7 STAR establishment and I haven’t even tried the shrimp and grits or RIBEYE STEAK ?, and that banana dessert!!!! Please stop in and enjoy, looks like they serve Moscow Mules too with the copper cups, bar looks well stocked. Get over here!!! My husband surprised me by reserving a table here for my birthday. The food was out of this world!! We had the smoked salmon dip, shrimp and grits , banana bread pudding , and crab Cajun Alfredo . The dessert was mouth watering, and the food had amazing flavors. I’m drooling thinking about it. What makes the place even better is that it’s ran by a local family. If you ever get the chance to go here don’t pass it up. Lovely atmosphere . Make reservations due to it being small. I can’t wait to go back.

Being from New Orleans we have to say, we were very happy with the atmosphere, service and most of all the wonderful food. They do a great service to the Cajun cuisine. We will be back and try everything on the menu. This is the place to go if you have had a New Orleans experience in great food.

I made a pick up order and the gentleman that answered was incredibly nice! When I went to pick up my food it was quite busy but the server quickly checked in with me to see if I was waiting for a table and directed me to the counter to get my order. It was ready and when I got home the food was still hot. I got a cup of both gumbo types and they were both delicious. I will for sure be back with family soon!

We have been here several times and have loved it each and time. Food is fantastic. Good service. It is usually busy and you will probably have to wait. It is 100% worth the wait. The Chilean sea bass was great. I have had grouper here and it was great. The shrimp and grits and the shrimp pasta are fantastic. Highly recommend the bread puddings for dessert. Our favorite local restaurant. It is every bit as good as the fancy places we have eaten in Charleston, SC which is a renowned food city.

Food was great, my wife had Ceaser Salad, my daughter had jambalaya, and I had the steak burger and fries, with blue cheese, mushrooms, tomato, lettuce, and caramelized onions. For desert my wife and daughter split the raspberry, chocolate cake. staff was excellent, friendly, and professional. We got there about 5:30, on a Saturday, they were pretty busy, but their wait estimate was pretty accurate. Definitely will go back.

Started out with the Fried Green Tomatoes couldn’t believe the size and taste was excellent! The 1/2 Chicken is an excellent choice, greens and sweet potato soufflé is the best I have ever had! The Orca is awesome! I liked the Southern Craft Orginal sauce the best myself! Wish we were staying another night in town at the Sessons Tribute Hotel. Definitely will return Enjoy
