“Recently booked the Holiday dinner for 5. Truly the best meal I've had in ages and well worth the drive and money! Everything was top notch from the moment we arrived, friendly staff, beautiful and festive atmosphere. The 5 course meal started with an impressive charcuterie board to share, homemade rolls, followed by the most delicious squash bisque. The entree and sides were impressive and the dessert sublime. The atmosphere was delightful, background music soothing but not intrusive. Trellis and staff truly make you feel welcome. His devotion to presenting an impressive experience is an accomplished goal!”

In all we had a chance to try salad, hoagies, pizza, boneless wings, chicken tenders and french fries. Everything was great. “Service was great for young workers! Everyone was kind and friendly. They made our treats very quickly. This place gives off some cozy diner vibes. There is a super cute sitting area around back that you can watch the water flow by in a creek. There is a drive through is you don't want to get out of your car. The avalanche was delightful. Could have used more icecream. Smores cyclone was similar to a blizzard and it was a good combination of ingredients. Would definitely get it again. Presentation on point.Our pup definitely loved the pup cup. Could have been served in a bigger container to avoid mess.”

“A must when in the area. Located right off of the highway, it makes for an easy stop for a coffee or sweet treat. They have absolutely fantastic ice cream available. It rivals the Graeters from Ohio with quality chocolate chunks. In the cafe were local gifts so if you need a last minute present, stop by and shop local. Cookies were amazing with a wide variety of flavors. Still many in stock as late as 4pm. Friendly service. Nice parking. Clean bathroom.”

“I was a stranger to this establishment. I was only a stranger when I entered because after a few minutes I felt like a local stopping by for a slice of pizza.I ordered four items, Vegetarian Pizza, a Fried Pepperoni Roll, Cinnamon Rolls, and Miniature Pepperoni Rolls. The flavors of all four were beyond my expectations. They were wonderful !!! The Cinnamon Rolls are OMG GOOD !!!!!The owner and his beautiful girlfriend are friendly and they go out of their way to ensure that you have exactly what you want.I felt at home very quickly and the locals were just as friendly. I met a beautiful woman by the first name of Candy and we enjoyed a lovely conversation about life in Newburg. She was a treat !I highly recommend that if you are traveling on Rte 92 and your travels take you through Newburg, WV. You owe it to your taste buds to sample anything on the menu at Matt’s Pizza Shop in Newburg. I have had pizza in NYC and Old Forge, Pa. “Ordered table side ceviche, Al pastor tacos, and a quesadilla; everything was hands down amazing. Music and vibe accompanied by great food was all I need to wind down at the restaurant. Some of the best tacos I’ve hand, and not to mention the complementary chips and pico de gallo. It’s worth it to sit down and breathe with delicious food.”

“This place is clean and the staff are friendly. My server was very enthusiastic and attentive which I always appreciate. Was slow when I arrived. I ordered a fettuccine dish with chicken and steak. The chicken was incredible, the pasta was ok but the steak was awful. Like chewing on rubber. I'm not a steak enthusiast though so it could just be my taste. Anyway, 4* due to the steak, otherwise would be a 5*”

“I haven't gone into the restaurant, however I get door dash to my dorm. I get their gluten-free pizza with the garlic knots and a side salad. The gf crust is good, nothing great, but good! The garlic knots are super tasty as well. I haven't ran into any troubles, and hope to at some time, make it to the actual restaurant.”

“Myself and Andy were asked to perform before an evening WVU football game. A light audience at 1st but by game time, a nice enthusiatic and appreciative audience gathered. The game was fun to watch and WVU won!!!The staff were absolutely great. Sarah Beth made sure we had food and drink throughout the night.I ate the "Pulled Pork Sandwich" piled high, juicy and delicious w/ some great tasting fries. A great selection of brews make it an awesome place with an awesome atmosphere and great food!!”

“As a bodybuilder chipotle was always my go too when I didn’t want to cook. I was tired of the downtown chipotles chaos and uncooked rice so I tried El pollon and I haven’t looked back since. We’ll easily eat the carne asada with rice 5 or six times in a busy week. The staff is always friendly and the food is always ready on time. Couldn’t recommend this place more for a cheap CLEAN meal”
