“The staff are nice and helpful. The food is above average. Go for the build your own omelette and the very berry tea. They look to be expanding. I’d love to come back when they are done!Kid-friendliness: There are games like Connect Four by the upstairs seating. The staff are incredibly kid friendly.“

“Love this spot in Cumberland, MD! Our server, Josh was excellent! Very attentive to us. Food was delicious. Highly recommend the spumoni made as a collab with the creamery! It's my absolute favorite and why this place is a "must stop" for me.“

“Fantastic place to eat. Suggest: 1) a piece of garlic bread with your chicken Parm. It would be beneficial to mop up that delicious sauce in the pasta bowl.2) name tags. I had to ask our server her name. She was very friendly, courteous, & a sales driven server. Her name was Maya! Great job Maya! Kitchen staff was at the top of their game. Chicken Pot pie was delicious! A very nice change to normal menus. In fact, the WHOLE STAFF was at the top of their game!!! Definitely, worth stopping!!! And we were just driving through, on our way back to Columbus, Ohio. Thank you!“

“A group of 19 had dinner together this evening. Taryn really took care of everyone, and was exceptionally prompt with beverages and taking our orders. The food is always excellent. Our group was happy that we dined at Davincis this evening.“

“Restaurant atmosphere is of a family owned small town eatery. The restaurant building is adorable and looks historic, adorned by manicured landscaping and flowers. There’s a small outside sitting area for good weather days. I had the crab soup and individual cheese wood fired pizza - both absolutely delicious, and under $20!! A great find for a lunch stop while on the road!! Very easy to get to off the highway.“

“Great Pizza. Friendly and helpful staff. Really like this place but wish I knew where to park. New to the area. I know there is a parking lot across the block but with all the street closures, I couldn't figure out how to get there. Eventually found a spot. Worth the search for the parking space.“

“Food is very good, staff is outstanding, location leaves a little to be desired but the food makes it worth it. I love their takeout and have not had a bad meal here. The staff is always very friendly and gracious. I'd say a hidden gem but considering the traffic and the constant stream of people "hidden" wouldn't really fit. My only complaint is with the online ordering system, I have tried to use it several times over the past few years and the only time it worked was this past week when I finally placed an order, and even then it took literally 3 minutes to confirm my order went through. If the food/people working weren't so great I probably would've forgotten about it after the 1st failure but both are definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended.“

“Very delicious food. I've lived in Allegany county for 17 years and never ate here until a few days ago. The salad dressing is delicious. Teriyaki chicken was tender and absolutely tasty. The marinated beef was sooooooo good. Our server was very attentive, polite, and prompt. Food was delivered fresh and cooked perfectly. The price point was excellent for lunch or dinner. Will definitely eat here again“

“This is one of the oldest establishments of Cumberland, MD. Table waiting staffs are very courteous and accommodating. Compared to metro areas food quality is top notch and prices are surprisingly low. Also, the mountain view from the parking lot is very photogenic.“

“Stopped in here looking for the lavale location. I thought they moved. But this little shop was great. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Also between the 2 shops I can say this location definitely has the better sauce and meatball subs.“

“This place is lost in time. Your basic greasy spoon diner that serves really good home cooked meals for super cheap. I had the two pork chop dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans for $10.50. Anywhere else would be double that for the same meal. Looks like the decor has not changed since it opened (1970’s?) and the clientele were all seniors. Good place to eat if you are on a fixed income. Service was fine but the tables are fairly packed together making it feel a bit cramped. Ignore reviews that claim they were overcharged. This place should be applauded for not gouging their customers. Worth a try if staying in Cumberland.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly for small children“

“A very decent one lace to go take the family or for a date night. It’s very affordable. It’s an All you can eat buffet, that has everything you can think of, i.e., sushi, clams, crawfish, crab legs, shrimp, orange chicken, all the different rices & noodles, salad bar, desert bar, 2 different kinds of ice cream, one you dip out the containers, and the other is from the machine, vanilla, chocolate, and swirl, which tasted more like custard than icecream but still delicious, just so much different dishes. It was all delicious too. Very clean. They keep up with the bars, if something is empty they are on it. They keep it filled. The atmosphere for being packed, it was not cramped, or uncomfortable. I have anxiety/social anxiety and I was fine. The tables and booths are not close together and cramped. When we went up to get our food it’s all spread out and it wasn’t a hassle to move through the isles and different bars to get your food. Everyone was very nice. Now I did have one issue. The waitress for our table, that brought our drinks, refills, and came to pick up the plates when we would finish with them, she reach across the table to grab some plates, but I had already started to pick them up to hand them to her, so she had no reason to reach over our plates that we were eating from. That’s just so rude and not to mention unsanitary. As a waitress/waiter they should know better than to do that. You never reach over another persons food. But aside from that our overall experience was 10/10. I highly recommend this Buffet & Grill.“

“A pleasant restaurant in downtown Cumberland. Nothing amazing but the food was pretty tasty and the service was fine. We were there on a Sunday afternoon and there were a few other customers but I wouldn't call it busy. But our food arrived quickly and overall it was a nice atmosphere. We'll probably go back.“

“My wife, daughter, and I stopped here for a quick lunch. The burgers were crisp and tasty, but not dry or overly greasy. Cheap prices too. Gene was super friendly. My family is scattered around the area, but we are from Connecticut. I'm sure 99% of his customers are locals, so this review is a reminder to them to pay Gene a visit for some good food, and for those passing through that are searching "food near me" to stop there for some good affordable things to eat. ?“

“I ordered beef tips with peppers, onions, and mushrooms. I also ordered a salad, potato with butter, and cream of crab soup. When I got the beef tips , they were overcooked (hard and tough), and they added gravy to it all that was disgusting tasting. There was way too much gravy. Plus, they're was noodles added. If I had known there were noodles, I had picked at it, and I wouldn't have got the up charge baked potato. Plus, the soup did not even taste like crab soup. It had very thin pieces of crab in it. I had picked at it but I decided I couldn't eat it. The only thing I liked about the whole meal was the salad and the baked potato. I'm not a picky eater. I should have sent it back. I've have been there 10 years ago. It was great. The whole meal was $40. I didn't get $40 worth of taste. My husband wouldn't even eat it when I got home. Took a bite, and it went to the garbage.“

“Food was very good; However I wish you had a two piece fish option. 4 pieces are too much for me and therefore I think it is expensive because I can never eat the other two and they aren't that good when heated upParking: Have several handicap spots available.“

“Although some may think of Denny’s as kind of an ok place to go if you don’t have a ton of options, this dennys is always good and has very friendly staff. Even with the work in progress outside, it’s still a warm/friendly atmosphere with better than average food and great service. My parents love it so no matter the little improvements I may catch here and there…it really is a relaxing place to eat and enjoy good company.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible with street level entrance and tables/chairs easily moved to provide space as needed.“

“I love the new sauce they use for pizzas. The owner is awesome and I'm definitely not biased. The service is always great and as fast as possible . Make sure you specify any changes to your order . This is a family owned business'. And I always order when in town.“
