The brunch menu over reaches. Lilah needs to scale back its offerings and improve the quality of a smaller number of options. The chicken and waffles included two probably frozen breaded chicken tenders and no waffles as they were out of waffles. Were pancakes substituted because waffles aren't made in house? All the plates lacked any color and would have benefited from a green on the VLT or a piece of fruit on the side. The kale salad was ridiculous. It contained unwieldy large leaves that should have been massaged or pre-dressed. It was a homely looking round of meals. Very brown. Very bland.

Once again, a wonderful dining experience at Lilah's. The food and drink were amazing, but the service really shines. Nathan knew to give us time, and was very helpful with the orders. Great time!

Gave this place another try after having terrible service but it seems to be consistently poor. We were the only people in there and it took forever to get our drink order in and then our food order. The main problem is that the staff do not help each other out. Only your waiter will talk to you, pick up your check, clear plates, refill a drink, ect. The last two times I was there, there was plenty of staff just standing around but they wouldnt check on us or pick up our check.Food is usually good but I got the chicken club and it was dry and didn't have bacon. I wouldnt order it again.

Dogs in the restaurant. Food was disappointing. There are much better options in Shepardstown, especially at this price.

Hi, my name is Addie. I'm a nine-year-old black lab.My mom and dad spend all day hiking with me on the Canal Trail and worked up a big hunger. We went to Lilah for dinner.I was happy tail happy to find out I was able to join them. The staff gave me continuous loving attention while my parents enjoyed their delicious meal. They had a harvest salad and tasty nachos. And Thursday happened to be Martini night. The highlight for me was the owner gave me the foot-long steak bone off her delicious thick and juicy steak. What a terrific, cozy, welcoming, community gathering place with fantastic food.

It's pricey for what you get. We've got cold fries. Gluten free buns rather than the low carb. Slow service. But the folks all seem nice and will bring fresh fries if needed. The pull apart rolls are just Pilsbury (or off brand). I do not know why there are always people here. Maybe there is something I missing...

If you're in Shepherdstown, West Virginia, and you haven't dined at Lilah, you're truly missing out! From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warmth and hospitality. The food selection is outstanding, offering a variety that caters to every palate. But what sets Lilah apart is its unparalleled service; it's off the charts! The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. What's truly remarkable is how Lilah embraces our furry companions. It's not just dog-friendly; it's a haven for our four-legged friends. The dogs in the restaurant are wonderfully behaved, and the staff treats them with the same care and attention as they do their human patrons. It's heartwarming to see how they welcome and accommodate our fur babies. And let's talk about the prices - they're reasonable, which is a rare find considering the quality of food and service you receive. Dining at Lilah is not just a meal; it's an experience worth going out of your way for. Whether you're a local or just passing through, make sure to add Lilah to your list of must-visit restaurants. You won't regret it!

A local place we go to once in a while. Since our last visit something food wise has changed and very disappointed in the quality of the meal. Great atmosphere for drinks and apps.

Went for Saturday brunch. Service was incredible. They had a huge drink selection, wife had a apple cider mimosa that she loved. Food was really good - get the churros and thank me later. Definitely would like to go back to try lunch and

Was really looking forward to this place however went by for lunch, requested table for 4 and was told no availability-was not given a wait time, then told to have a nice day. Place is cute inside though—too bad. Probably won’t return. We ended up eating at The Bavarian Inn and had great service :)…

After being told my first choice was not available, I ordered duck tostados, and was shocked at its appearance, even more shocked when tryhing to eat them. The dish consisted of two small, tough "pancakes" - not tortillas, and not crispy - covered with very dry shredded duck and some sort of chopped or shredded greenery - could have been kale. No seasoning, no sauce, no taste - and impossible to eat much of because they were impossible to cut. If I had not had a guest, I would have complained; what I did was, eat a few bites and pay the bill. I live in the area and eat out frequently; have had good burgers here, but now am not likely to go back.
