I’ve been in Shepherdstown about ten years now and am grateful to have the opportunity to enjoy this pizza again. The staff was lovely and kind and the pizza is obviously delicious. They just opened and everyone in town has been anticipating it. Please be patient with them. It will even out, but for now we should all be grateful for the wonderful nostalgia and hard working staff.
The “soft opening” was 03/01/24 and the place has been super busy from the time the door unlocked. They have ordered extra pizza pans and proof every pan (over 100 total) every day. The oven holds 6 large pizzas and is packed full constantly. There’s a line of customers to the door! The new owners owned their own pizza shop for years- they have plenty of experience. I've ordered Tommeez once a week since it reopened and the subs are the best in the area. The pizza is solid as well. Reminds me of old pizza hut pan pizza without the grease. Definitely recommended but be patient as they tend to get busy after 5.
