Once again The Olive tree didn't disappoint with its delicious food and elegance. We dined outside this time but was comfortable due the above heating. Got the marinated chicken and loaded fries it was good. It was busy the service time was fairly quick with our large order.

I have eaten more times than I can count with friends, family and alone at The Olive Tree. This evening was the worst experience with regard to service and respect When we arrived about 4:15, there were maybe two tables occupied on the patio and one table occupied in the very back of the restaurant. From what I could see, there were at least 5 servers and/or seaters just hanging around the bar area. I told them we would have 6 when they all arrived - within the next five minutes but we were tired, had a toddler who had been in the car all day and would like to sit, have something to drink and an appetizer while we waited. You would think that we had just told them we had a bus load coming and it would probably be 160 people . Panic stricken for a table not even ten feet awayi for 6 was all we needed. Well within any one of their skill sets. They debated with each other on where to seat us in a nearly empty restaurant for 10+ minutes. Each than one of them asked if we had been helped and I said yes - by each of you walking around here, but we are still standing, waiting for one of you to make a decision. It took another 10 be noticed after we sat down and our drinks and appetizers took about 20 minutes more and we were yet to order dinner. I tried to keep a smile on my face, but the server and her mentor server were both very rude. It was like they were doing us a favor by letting us even eat there. Never mind some extra napkins and refills I love Olive Tree, have been a loyal repeat customer through the years and the owner has always been friendly, but just the disrespected treatment tonight has put me off for a while, if ever. There was obviously no visible management and smiles were few and far between, if any, including mine. No complaints with the food, good as always, but it didn't go down well with the terrible service. Won't be back soon.

Service was indifferent, not rude but not kind. We had to ask for things several times. Never refilled drinks. Philly cheese steak had pickles which was odd. Maybe ok if I liked pickles but I don't. Would've been fine otherwise if not for the canned nacho cheese sauce. That had a weird, off-putting flavor. There was actual provalone on the sandwich so I don't know why they feel the need to use the canned fake cheese. Loaded fries were okay after we brought them home and reheated them. When they came to the table, they were cold and the cheese (a sauce would've been a better choice in this case - but not the canned stuff) had hardened so the entire dish was just one big clump of fries.Update: I was at a conference for work at a hotel across the street and co-workers wanted to eat here. The food was better this time although one person had the Philly and their reaction to it was the same as mine. I had the falafel wrap and the fried feta. The falafel was one of the better ones I've had and the fried feta (as long as you use the sauce it comes with) was better than the other local restaurant that is known for it. I've added a star because this meal was so much better than the last couple I've had here.Service was still cold. The woman that greeted us was friendly but the rest of the staff, not so much.

Nice location and ambiance. We had the ceviche, fries, perogies, and falafel. The falafel was very dry and almost stale, which I didn't know could happen. The fries came out cold, and the perogies were cold and tough. Ceviche was nice.Waitress was annoyed when I ordered a drink from their menu that they couldn't make, then was more annoyed when I didn't want to order something else. Apparently they couldn't make coffee was what I was told. She tried to get us to order an appetizer sampler to "save us money". If she had done the math she would have noticed what we ordered was two dollars less and with the sampler you get less of each item. Waitress gave us the food, and started to leave. She looked annoyed when I asked for silverware to eat with. I saw her do the same thing at the table behind us as well. She also sounded annoyed the we sent back the fries, nearly untouched, and did want to try another order. Maybe she was having a bad night, but there was no reason for her behavior.

It was great when I ate there but I have not been there in some time now but my sister did and she said the food was delicious that they must have gotten a new chef and the place was very clean

Very good food, reasonably priced. Delicious hot tea - loose leaf (!), you don't get that often in restaurants. Friendly staff. Overall great experience. Highly recommend!

The restaurant was packed and had only two servers. With that said, they were amazing and kept up with us. The food was delivered promptly and it was delicious.
