“My wife and I have been patrons of the "Wood" for a lot of years. It is a great neighborhood tavern and all newcomers are welcomed. They have a excellent bartending staff and a great selection of chilled adult beverages of your choice. You owe it to yourself to give a try.“
“All members of our party enjoyed their food. We all had either the tacos (one veg, one chicken) or Appalachian fried rice. Draft beers currently sourced from Devil's Kettle in Athens. Wonderful server tolerated all our antics... A good time was had by all.“

“Food is okay. Nothing outstanding. We got buffalo and BBQ boneless wings and they were not our favorite. They taste like frozen wings you get from the store. Cheese pizza was okay, cheesy bread sticks were good, and the buffalo pizza was good as well. Would I order again? Possibly, to try some subs or some other things on the menu to see if they are good as well. Just a little underwhelming for what we paid for the food we received..“
