We ordered a QUART of Hot & Sour soup to go with the food we ordered. They gave us a PINT.Then when I opened the container there were 2 bits of pork and about 5-6 slivers of bamboo shoot. That was it. I used to think their Hot & Sour was the best. This was not even mediocre. Very disappointing. IF I order it again I’ll probably insist on checking the soup before leaving with it.

Not sure what has happened to this place, it used to be good but seems to have gone down hill over the last coupleOf years. Took one bite of egg drop soup and it was inedible; tasted like gelatinous broccoli water. All the food seemed to have too much cornstarch with thick sauces. I don’t think we will ever be ordering from here again. Would not recommend.

Ordered General Taos chicken and tasted like fish… had to be old chicken .. we couldn’t eat it and my daughter almost threw up when she took a bite.. when I called to complain the manager offered me 50% off my next order… I think that is unacceptable.. they should have offered a fresh order of the chicken or given me the entire amount back for this issue.. if I am paying $14 + for a dish it should be fresh, not old rotten chicken. It’s sad because I have been eating here since I was a little girl.. I don’t think I will be coming back

Went in and was told to seat ourselves. Usually a red flag but we love the owner and have been coming here for years. Sat down...said owner came to our table wearing anapron( red flag)and asked if anyone got out drink order. She took our drink order(3 waters) and said she'd bring menus. Anyway. Long story short, we waited. And waited. And got up amd left. For the past few years, silver has gone downhill. Service, and quality. Golden was fresh amd awesome, and service was good. Sorry owner. Prob won't be back. Not the first time.

We ordered takeout because our usual place was closed. The tofu was rubber and bland. My husband had a slimy piece of chicken that made him gag. My daughter described the lo mein as , " it tasted like barf."

We ordered take-out and my wife picked it up. They don't give enough sauce with General Tso chicken, so I always order extra sauce on the side. But they didn't put no sauce with the chicken at all, and the chicken was dry and crispy. Always order fried dumplings. This time, they left out the sauce. My wife ordered Moo Goo Gai Pan without cabbage or mushrooms. Then add snowpeas and carrots. Still had cabbage, and only got 3 carrots. Silver Chopsticks is really going down hill. Going to start going to Golden Chopsticks on the Island from now on even though we live two minutes from Silver Chopsticks.
It's a good place. I love the little hideaway booths but definitely needs some tlc.Food is good and nice portions.

My egg roll came out ice cold. Dumplings weren't available. My chicken dish wasn't prepared as described in the menu. Wait person couldn't answer basic questions about the menu.

Best Chinese restaurant in the area. Excellent food, premier service. Unfortunately no delivery.
