When I moved to Wheeling , one of the first things I did, was go on the hunt for waffles … They’re my absolute fav breakfast item !I learned that there were no waffles to be found !!??But yesterday, The Belgian Waffle Shop, inc. opened & I had to check it out today ! ???Wasn’t sure how I would feel about it because :1. I like breakfast waffles with butter & syrup.2. I’m not a huge fan of ice cream on warm desserts.But I have to say , this was THE BEST waffle I’ve ever had ! I give it a 10 & 2 thumbs up ! ???Served very hot , very quickly , the staff was so friendly & the toffee crunch flavor was on point ! Loved the French press coffee! ? I’ll definitely be back soon!

Overpriced and VERY disappointed. Not sure if the waffle batter was old or maybe one of the ingredients, but the waffles were dry and tasted stale. Owner was extremely rude when we brought it to her attention. Felt sick after eating here. Would never return.Edit: It’s amazing how anytime someone says anything negative about your “business” you accuse it of being false. You apparently think your waffles are the greatest thing this valley has ever seen. More proof of the rudeness of the owner. Spend your money elsewhere folks - this woman doesn’t deserve your business.

The staff welcomes you as soon as you walk in the door, the service was fantastic! The dishes were served as beautiful as all of the pictures and videos on social media. My family had 4 different ones all of them were oh so delicious and so full of flavor. It’s worth the drive to Wheeling! We will def. Go back again! Kudos to the owner for taking a leap of faith and open this unique business!

First of all I got the vanilla Belgian waffle and it tasted so good. The two ladies there were so kind and played cool music. The place was beautifully painted with boho colors and it felt very calm. Overall I’d definitely go there again.

I have known Tara for years so I knew this place would be amazing but wow she out did herself! Getting to press your own coffee at your table is an awesome touch. The waffles no matter what flavor are amazing! Everytime you go in you get an amazing welcome from her and the staff. If you haven't stopped in to try one of their amazing waffles you are missing out!
I tried their specialty Kit Kat waffles and let me tell you, they were out of this world! ? The waffles were perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, and the combination of the warm waffle with the melted Kit Kat chocolate was pure heaven.

What a wonderful treat! A must stop. We were greeted warmly as we walked in. Small wait to order. We had the Oreo Utopia and it was delicious and served warm with ice cream on top. We LOVE that they use Kirke's Homemade Ice cream. The waffle was cooked perfectly and covered with alllll the yummy toppings. We would definitely come back.
