“Old fashioned diner has a great atmosphere. Very clean place. Food was delicious and very reasonably priced. Order at the counter but food is delivered to the table.”
“This is the greatest place in Winfield. To go and get something to eat. The people are very nice and The food is even better If you are in Winfield and hungry, definitely Stop in see ”
“Best pizza place around! Food is always delicious and great customer service always. Been ordering here for years and never had a bad experience. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”
“Everything was good but the churros. I bought a foot long churro and by the time I ate my sandwhich the churro was HARD. The lady behind the counter behind the counter explained what happened and replaced it for free which was nice YET it was hard also. ?”
“Food is fairly priced, good portion size, and for Chinese takeout is better than most other similar style restaurants close by. It’s not the best Asian food you will ever eat, but it’s not bad either. Perfect for when you want takeout, but not fast food and don’t want to spend a fortune.”
“Lawrence took my order. He was very polite and professional. After awhile, he came out to the dining area. He spoke to me and asked if I was doing okay. We spoke for a minute or two. Just that little bit of interaction made my day. I could just tell he was a polite young man and had a bubbly personality. He made my day!”
“Mcdonalds is a great place for a meal. If you need a refill just ask at the counter, it usually takes a minute or two.Parking: There is a lot of parking here around the building.Kid-friendliness: Kids love mcdonalds.Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair parking and a ramp to the door”
“Amazing neighborhood sandwich place. The foci are burgers and chicken sandwiches. Great chicken and sauces. Huge portions. Reasonable prices. Service was extremely friendly if a little slow. Ambiance is corner place.”
“Egg roll sampler - incredibly creative idea, expertly delivered. Really enjoyed three of the rolls, other did a great job being exactly as described. BBQ (pork) is super tasty. Spicy is really good, doesn’t pack much spice punch though. Cheeseburger wasn’t our favorite, but it is an extremely effective delivery of a cheeseburger as an egg roll (which turns out isn’t our personal preference). Best for last, the reuben - best reuben we’ve had in the state of WV and it was in egg roll form. Will try to return to get the actual reuben sandwich.Hiroshima - very interesting dish, really enjoyed the ball of rice. Just the right amount of crunchiness. Broccoli and chicken are done just right. I got it “spicy,” and it wasn’t (in my opinion). Waitress got more spice for me super quickly. Really appreciated the flavor after the addition of more spice.Crispy Chicken Melt with onion rings - good taste, all seemed a touch over cooked. Still enjoyed it though.Incredible wait staff, very attentive and very busy keeping everything clean. It got a bit loud from casual conversations at other tables, not enough to dampen our experience.”
“We stumbled across this gem after staying at the Holiday Inn next door. The batista had wonderful option ideas and I settled for a lavender matcha. The setting pulls you in to seek out every corner with the interesting wares they sell. I couldn't help but pick out a beautiful pair of locally handcrafted silver earrings! We will make this stop again next time we are through!”
“Fried pickles and peppers are a must try! as someone in the restaurant industry the staff and time of food delivery were great. Prices were very reasonable for portion sizes!”
“Stopped in to buy dessert to take to a dinner party. Got pecan & apple crumb pies, carrot cake, baklava, & peep brownies. Our hosts raved about how pretty everything was & all agreed they were delicious. Super nice people too. Win, win, win!”
“Second time dining here, and just love the place...the Mediterranean Nachos Platter is amazing, the kabobs are on point, my wife enjoyed her shawarma wrap, and oir buddy really enjoyed the Cast Iron ”
“I'm usually picky with onions, but here I could eat them and not have any problems. I got the Birria Grilled Cheese and honestly I would just get this every time but the menu is so diverse. I've got to come back and try ”
“As good as hotdogs, light beers, and local country radio gets. The female staff will call you anything but "sir", the kitchen looks smaller than a first apartment's, and the regulars are some real characters. Stop on by for a coupke dogs with everything, a Mich Ultra, and maybe a short conversation about local politics or how local deer season is going.”
“Great food! Doesn't disappoint. Sometimes the wait is a little long if the kitchen is busy but it is worth it. Definitely has a spot on our "go to" ”
“Great food, very fast, great service and clean restaurant. We enjoyed it!Parking: Small parking lot but it was easy to get to.Kid-friendliness: They had a good number of dinner options for kids to choose from.”
“This place has been around for a long time and for good reason. It's a wonderful, family owned business with friendly employees and great service. Their prices are good too. I highly recommend!”
“Great restaurant, like the ambiance. Service was Incredible. The Salad was great, the Pizza was out of this world good. I stumbled upon this place and promise you I will make the detour to go back. It was just that good! The Ezzo cupping pepperoni brought me right bake to the pizza I miss from Buffalo NY. Probably one of the best pizzas I have had! The homemade sauce, the Homemade dough and all the top tier ingredients you can't go wrong. Awesome experience.”
“Cannot say enough amazing things about this resturant. Prices are more than reasonable. You can get a full large meal under $10 with a drink chips and salsa, which is rare nowadays. It is always, always delicious. The staff are friendly and work hard. Always so nice over the phone. Never forget anything out of my order and I go there a LOT. Love this place. I have been going there my whole life and hope they stay there forever. If you are new to the area. GO GET SOME!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere”
“The food is always some of the best around and their portions are more than ample. You most certainly get your money's worth. The atmosphere and setting are always upbeat and remind you of an old 70s style diner.Highly recommend stopping in here for a bit. They also allow Doordarsh orders.Parking: Located in the front of the building and around the side, there are enough parking spots to cover every table in the diner.”
“Today was probably the 5th or 6th visit that we have made to La Roca's within the past year (always for lunch) and we are always pleased with our experience. The food, the service, the menu, and the atmosphere have all consistently been excellent. I am a vegetarian and I can honestly say the Vegetable Fajitas are among the best I have eaten (the Corn and Zucchini Tacos are yummy as well). The portion was more than ample. In fact,I had enough remaining to take home for another meal. My husband is not a vegetarian and has loved everything that he has ordered (he has never had any leftover to take home!). The staff is always pleasant and attentive, which is much appreciated. I have no reason to doubt that our next trip to the Cross Lanes La Roca's (and there will definitely be a next time) will be as outstanding as our previous visits. ??⭐”
“Awesome business and people. Food is amazing. Ordered for a family get together for 16 people. Was hot and ready and on time. They carried it to our car for us! Made for a wonderful experience. Highly recommend this veteran owned company for all of your BBQ catering, lunch, or dinner needs.”
“This is a longtime staple of the Teays Valley area. Very friendly staff and bartenders. They have an event space for larger events, a large dining room, and great bar area. Highly recommend this place if you're passing through.”
“Beautiful atmosphere! A lot to look at and you aren't too close to every other table in the place. Nice background music. Very cozy place to be. Coffee was good, better than Dunkin. Food was a little lackluster, asked for scrambled eggs for both our plates and it was an omelette both. Hash potatoes were good. Homemade biscuit was basically just oat biscuits. Cannot really recommend any bread here for people that enjoy real bread. Most bread options are gluten free, great for gluten free people. Not great for bread lovers. Overall not too bad but I'd rather make my breakfast at home with a nice fried egg and avocado toast.Dietary restrictions: Great for gluten free options”
“We stopped in here on our 8 hour trip to WV. We really wanted a great burger and this place didn't disappoint. Their wings are the best I've ever had. Will be stopping in more often on our future trips.”
“Bartender made some drinks that were WONDERFUL!!Live band - also WONDERFUL!Haven’t been here in years but so happy to revisit. Will definitely be going back soon!”
“This was our first time at a Tudor's and we were excited to be there. The ladies at the counter were friendly and answered all of our questions. We ordered (two Super Breakfast platters and one Big Tator meal) and didn't have to wait long for our very delicious food to come to the table. We were not disappointed!”
“Easter Sunday and the store was very busy! Our party of four started with an appetizer from the Barrel Bites, Loaded Steak Fries, and it was delicious! My 94 year old mother-in-law ordered the grilled chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and brown gravy, corn and baby carrots. As usual, she ate half and took the other half home for lunch this week. Both the tenders and carrots were truly tender and all was well prepared. My wife had the Homestyle Fried Chicken BLT sandwich (no tomato for her). She too cut it in half for a later lunch this week and enjoyed her favorite hash brown casserole as a side. My daughter thoroughly enjoyed the dumplings meal and shared a few with grandma who loves them also. I had the sampler and opted for Sunday Chicken (available daily but I still call it Sunday Chicken) and dumplings with pinto beans (add onion AND chow-chow) and turnip greens (add apple cider vinegar) and biscuits and cornbread (for one) and Grilled Sourdough Toast (for two). We definitely plan to return to the Cross Lanes, WV Store very soon, especially since we moved nearby a few months ago and found this location to be a gem.Wheelchair accessibility: My 94 year old mother-in-law has a walker that she pushes (and sometimes rides as my wife pushes her) and the entrance was easily accessible to her.”
“If you haven't been to biscuit world you are missing out. The best biscuits I've had to date. The ham and cheese is my go to and the politician is good as well. The apple biscuit is to die for.If you come here and get anything other than a biscuit you should be ashamed of yourself.”
