Cozy, fun little place!! We sat at the bar. The waitress let us sample a beer. The food was good. The green chili made in house is a must!!! Very good.

I love the cozy atmosphere in the Southside. The staff are attentive, and it gives that personalized touch.Parking: There's some street parking out front, but there are plenty of parking spots within a short walking distance, making for easy parking, and all free.

We loved their breakfast here . We had the Egg Benedict and The SouthSide breakfast . My husband chose for his sunrise breakfast the chicken fried steak , two fried eggs ( medium), english muffin and potatoes . Great service also !

We typically eat and drink at the Occidental Hotel, but on this visit, there were no dining options for lunch. The hotel manager recommended Southside Grill, so we strolled down the street. SG specializes in assorted dishes made with brisket, but they have a wide offering, including great salads. I say they also specialize in customer service! I appreciate their seasonal offerings (fried green tomatoes, spinach salad) and a range of items from appetizers to entrees, including hearty sandwiches and salads. I enjoyed their Philly cheesesteak made with brisket. The fries were freshly hand-cut and didn't taste greasy, which was a pleasant surprise. They also have a full bar with an impressive selection of beers on tap, including local craft and popular domestics. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner--inside and patio seating. Dogs are welcome on the back patio. Complimentary WiFi. Live entertainment on some Saturdays.

Cozy little place! We loved how the menu was restructured so the price of a very good basic burger is great and you can add to it as you like for a reasonable price, thereby saving money and reducing waste. Our server, Brittany, was so pleasant explaining that to everyone.They have Speed Goat on tap, so bonus points there! We’ll be back.The cinnamon rolls are the best!!! Thank you, Michelle! Soooooooo good !Update! They have outside seating with patio heaters and occasional live music. This area is Dog friendly!! ❤️
