Their prime rib is mouth watering good. So much flavor and cooked to perfection every time. Highly recommend their home made soup and desserts also.Staff are friendly and attentive.

I love the Albany and used to work there, I've never had a bad meal from there until tonight. The food is normally amazing when it makes it to your table before it has a chance to get cold. My server was Alex and to say she was terrible is a compliment. As I said I used to work there so I know that I was her only table it was the end of the dinner rush and things were winding down. She was absent for most of the meal and kept forgetting condiments that I waited for so I could eat my steak. I understand waiting for drinks because the bartender is usually busy with their own guests while filling other tables orders, but it took forever to get my drinks and my condiments I left without finishing my dinner which she was ready to retrieve when I requested them. I understand being the opener you want to leave as soon as possible but just because you are cut from the floor doesn't mean you don't still have guests to attend to. I will continue to frequent the Albany but will only eat on the bar side now as the last few times in the restaurant the servers have been young and unattentive and all together freaking terrible.

We went to the The Albany for lunch, something I haven't done for many years. I've gone for dinner and haven't been too impressed but I have to say, lunch was awesome. I had the Portobello Sandwich with Coleslaw and my partner had the Grown Up Grilled Cheese and Coleslaw. Service was prompt and friendly and the atmosphere was so genuine and warm. My partner and I agreed the Coleslaw was the best we've had anywhere. It was real Coleslaw. Not soggy and not over seasoned with salt and other spices. The Portobello Sandwich was great. A big meatly slice of grilled Portobello with cheese on Sourdough. It wasn't greasy although the bread didn't hold up too well because it was juicy. Not a bad problem to have! My partner said his Grown Up Grilled Cheese was great. I am very impressed because I love supporting the historical restaurants of Cheyenne. We will definitely be back to sample other dishes! Oh, and the entertainment we had from the men behind us who discussed the sex toys found in one of their rental properties was priceless.
