This place is amazing and has the same quality since day one. We went out to play in the woods but the weather got us so why not stop for a beer. Grabbed some food which was delicious and a few cold ones and we were on our way home. The Bunkhouse is a little out of town but worth the drive. The food is great and service is spot on. Thank you.

Really cool place- has a ton of neat stuff on the walls and ceiling. The prime rib was good, and the Diet Pepsi had a good mix! Service was really good- server was attentive and really nice. Nice atmosphere, suitable for bar patrons and families with kids.It was worth the sketchy drive from Laramie. Will certainly be back!Kid-friendliness: There is a bar, but it’s separated from the main area. Kids menu looked good.

We went to the bunkhouse on a Saturday. They have live music and dancing. The food was excellent! Probably one of the best steaks I have ever had.You can call ahead for reservations.The atmosphere is neat, decorated in a western theme and nice taxidermy.

I can’t say enough good things about this place, everyone is so warm and welcoming, the food is great and the atmosphere is lively. Sonia is the best bartender this side of the Mississippi. Fridays and Saturdays have live music and the band is excellent as well.

We ate at the Bunkhouse last night after hiking in Curt Gowdy State Park. Between the two of us, we had meatloaf with mashed sweet potatoes, a patty melt with onion rings and fries, a cup of turkey vegetable soup, and strawberry rhubarb cobbler. Everything was very good and the portions were generous. Our waitress was very friendly, helpful, accommodating, and attentive (I could list more positive adjectives). We will definitely eat there again when we're in the area. It's a very casual atmosphere with good food and equally good service.On a side note, we've only been in the northern Colorado area for a few years but one of the recurring themes is how nice the women in Wyoming have been to us, as complete strangers to them. This isn't just anecdotal. Besides at the Bunkhouse, we've seen the same in our experiences in Point of Rocks, Wamsutter, Riverton, Centennial, Saratoga, and Dubois.
The band is great! Service is friendly and attentive. Food is mediocre, but the live music and dancing compensates!Kid-friendliness: Kids get to dance and interact with the band!

3 stars for the cool western vibe of this place. We went on a Thursday, which was trivia night so that was fun. The food, not so much. My son ordered a prime rib sandwich and the waiter accidentally put in an order for prime rib. This was fine, but the prime rib was super fatty and he could only eat about a third of it. Too much fat. My husband and I ordered fish and chips since it got good reviews. Again, disappointing. The oil used was not hot enough so the food was grease soaked, soggy, and not fully cooked. 5 stars for the soup, that was delicious. We are going to give it another try because it is a really cool atmosphere. Hopefully, better luck with the food next time.
