Nestled in the heart of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Destination Taiwan is a charming tiny hut that packs a big punch when it comes to Taiwanese cuisine. Despite its modest exterior and lack of indoor seating, this little gem is a true culinary treasure. The authenticity of the food is unmatched, making it stand out as the best Taiwanese food I've ever had, even rivaling dishes I've enjoyed in Taiwan itself. Every bite is a flavorful tribute to the rich culinary heritage of Taiwan, prepared with care and skill that truly captures the essence of the cuisine. What truly sets Destination Taiwan apart is the incredible service and friendliness of the staff. In this case, the dynamic duo behind the scenes is none other than the owner, a Taiwanese native, and his daughter. Their hospitality is as warm as the flavors they serve, going above and beyond to ensure every guest feels like a welcomed friend. The owner's passion for sharing Taiwanese cuisine shines through in every dish, reflecting years of dedication and love for the flavors of his homeland. This passion is infectious, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere that makes dining at Destination Taiwan a truly memorable experience. The vibe of this small hut is cozy and intimate, creating a sense of community that adds to the overall charm of the dining experience. Despite its size, Destination Taiwan exudes a sense of authenticity and tradition that transports diners to the bustling streets of Taipei.During my extended stay in Cheyenne, Destination Taiwan became a weekly ritual for me. I found myself drawn back time and time again, not just for the incredible food, but for the sense of connection and warmth that the owner and his daughter provided. While it may be a small hut, but it is a powerhouse of Taiwanese flavor, hospitality and will provide the best food you can find for hundreds (if not thousands) of miles . The authenticity of the food, the exceptional service from the owner and his daughter, their unwavering passion for their craft, and the cozy vibe all come together to create a dining experience that is truly special. If you find yourself in Cheyenne, don't miss the opportunity to visit Destination Taiwan – it's a culinary journey that you'll want to embark on again and again.

We drove up from Fort Collins just to try out this place for the first time. It was well worth the drive and we will definitely be back. The people working were so friendly and that instantly sold me. We picked up the chive pancake, cinnamon pancake, scallion flatbread, black sesame bun, taro buns, red bean bun and sweet potato bun, passion fruit green tea and smoked plum tea. They gave us a bamboo bun, egg custard buns and some candies for free. Everything was incredible!! We can’t wait to try more next time. Thanks for offering so many vegetarian options.

I'll make the drive from Denver to Cheyenne just for the delightful owners of destination Cheyenne and their delicious bao buns and scallion flatbread. Can't wait to try more of the menu options in the future.

Amazing Taiwanese food! And the hospitality was incredible. They don't have tables, so you can either eat in your car or sit at a small bench next to the outlet. Regardless, the food is worth

This place was SO GOOD. I couldn't even take photos I inhaled the food so quickly. The little cash only hut run by two people had some of the best authentic food I've tried in the area. We got a few buns & a scallion pancake. they even threw in a couple of tea eggs for us. we went on an icy day & they walked the bag out to our car so we didn't have to walk on the ice. definitely give this place a try!

Small hut with Delicious Asian food. Honestly I was very skeptical of a Taiwanese restaurant in Wyoming, but this places does the best with what it has. The pork rice, baos and the flat bread are good. I've had better milk tea elsewhere, but considering I've lived in socal it's not fair to compare. Lol. If you're travelling through, and craving Asian food, make sure you stop here.
