I'm really on the fence about L'Osteria Mondello. We had reservations for two and were seated promptly. Despite the dining room being half empty, we were shoehorned into a corner near a loud table. Our server was prompt and attentive. The rest simply didn't impress. Having lived in Itlay I wish the dining experience was more laid back and less strained. The table was very small and fitting even glasses and a bottle of wine in a cooler on it was uncomfortable. The bruschetta was excellent. It was fresh and garlicky on perfectly crispy bread. The meals came with dinner salads that were unexceptional. The lobster ravioli was so/so. It was drowning in sauce and the pasta was heavy but the filling was tasty. The sauce almost had a buffalo hot wings vibe. It was strange and distracted from the ravioli. My companion had seafood fettuccine. He felt the sauce was very thin. He said the seafood was good and the fettuccine perfectly cooked. The dessert was a limoncello cake that was simply delicious. We'll be back to sample a few more meals. In an authentic-Italian desert like Wyoming it's important to patronize this restaurant.

Pizza—I would recommend trying the vodka sauce with prosciutto and three cheeses it is my favorite. Meat lovers & Joe’s favorite are also delicious.Fine Dining Vodka Rigatoni and it is my favorite. My husband has tried the lamb and said it was perfect as well.Overall great food! Everything we have tried had been delicious I just posted my favorite.
