I enjoyed a quiet and calm elk burger (the Hayden) and red wine. The venue was not crowded as I went around 3 pm. The venue was clean and many options available. The young gentleman that took my order was very helpful, polite, and provided quick service.

We had Bison burgers, fries and the Mac & cheese. Zero regrets. Buffalo Bill had good sauce, and awesome bacon. The Hayden had fresh jalapeños, excellent flavor. The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. And I’d eat that Mac & cheese every day if I could. Service was excellent start to finish.

First time customer here. Just loved the idea of a butcher shop and a lovely place to eat!Had a hankering for a burger and this place did NOT disapoint! Great, friendly staff, esp butcher was very helpful explaining what was available to purchase fresh or frozen.There is a LOCAL DISCOUNT so be sure to ask for that on fresh/frozen meat. (Not for cooked menu items)I would post a pic but we were so hungry that we tore into our food and enjoyed every bite. Go get your own and you can see for yourself.Nice selection of wine, too.

Dang! We drove from Custer SD to have an Elk Burger on the 26th. Arrived at 6 pm, and you were CLOSED...Arrrgh! It would be super appreciated if your hours on Google Maps matched your actual hours.Sorry for the one-star review - we were really looking forward to enjoying the deck and a burger and a beverage with our two canine friends after a long drive.
If you stop at one place in Cody, this should be it. Delicious fries and elk and bison burgers. Super friendly staff!

Delicious burgers and fries. Very friendly staff. Good selection of local beers on tap. Not real sure how it is we were the only people here just after 6 at night. They also have an amazing selection of local meats packaged to go. Wish we lived closer.

Outstanding food! We order the Buffalo bills last stand “ Bison burger with Buffalo sauce and blue cheese” and the hot mountain hole “angus beef burger” side of fry’s and coleslaw everything is fresh and delicious! Great customer service as well. Talked to the butcher as we waited for the food to be cook. Randy was a nice guy who you can tell loves his job. Only thing I’d say to make it better would be some background music.

We stopped in Cody for a night after our Yellowstone trip. We initially chose this restaurant because it’s all local food. Let me tell you—the food here was AMAZING. The steak on my salad was so yummy. The burgers were flavorful and cooked to perfection. Our server was friendly and sweet. The gentleman behind the butcher shop area was so kind and welcoming. I couldn’t recommend this place more.
