“We were looking for a quick bite to eat before heading to the airport and ended up at Dairy Queen. I have fond memories of eating hot dogs at my local DQ as a kid, so this nostalgia may have swayed me a bit. I get that it's not everyone's first choice for food, and it's definitely not gourmet. But, it was hot, fast, and cheap, which was nice after a week of vacation aka going out to eat for every meal! I got the hot dog combo and Nate got a chicken tender basket. The fries were fresh and my hot dog was tasty. The bun seemed lightly steamed and wasn't stale at all. The dining area is huge and was very clean. The chicken tender basket came with a big cup of steaming hot gravy, which we both thought was kind of weird, but we weren't mad. If you want a more typical sauce just be sure to ask. The employee taking our order was polite and efficient. It's not going to be a regular stop for me while I'm in town, but it did the trick for us on this occasion.“
“Pretty nice and tasty ice cream. Worth a try. Their ice cream cone is lovely. The staff is friendly and polite, answers patiently to your questions. There are multiple choices in sundae and in ice cream. You'll have to take away orders as sitting options are not there. There's open sitting available just outside. It was a good experience“
